LOOK: SMNI, suspended by NTC for an indefinite period of time.

​It was on December 21, 2023 when the National Telecommunications Commission has issued a Show Cause Order against Swara Sug Media-led SMNI, and a suspension order, over the violations of the network’s franchise under the republic act no. 11422 for thirty days from the time of it’s issuance.

While on January 20, 2024 when SMNI returned it’s Radio and TV Operations back on the air, then about three days later, January 23, 2024, the NTC has issued an another order against SSMC, putting SMNI into an indefinite hiatus on the air. This has came as an decision by the Telecommunications Regulatory Body due to the non-compliance of their strictful suspension order.

This suspension order will last until when a final consideration regarding to this case  pending prior to the said body was completed.
