
After almost three and a half years of delivering The News Authority of the Filipino, GMA Integrated News, the news and information arm of GMA Network, rebranded back as GMA News, with the relaunch of its tagline, Serbisyong Totoo. It is a bold move to strengthen its legacy and sharpen its identity in an evolving media landscape, reaffirming its enduring commitment to its core mission: delivering truthful, balanced, and credible journalism to Filipinos worldwide.
Walang kinikilingan. Walang pinoprotektahan. Noon at ngayon, Serbisyong Totoo. That was the full slogan of the renewed GMA News as seen in a recently aired promo video on 24 Oras, as part of an unwavering dedication to impartiality, integrity, and public service—values that have defined its journalism across generations.
GMA News was known for its flagship newscast, 24 Oras, aired on weekdays at 18:30 on GMA, Kapuso Stream, and GTV, anchored by Mel Tiangco, Emil Sumangil, and Vicky Morales. It is also known for other news programs on GMA Network, which share the same level of journalism, such as 24 Oras Weekend, Saksi, Balitanghali, State of the Nation, and Dobol B TV, as well as Regional TV News, and its regional-level newscasts (under the GMA Regional TV brand), including GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon, GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak, GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas, and GMA Regional TV One Mindanao.
For 71 years, since the first airing of Super Radyo DZBB, the flagship AM Radio station of GMA Radio in Mega Manila, has continued its lead in the AGB Nielsen ERAM Ratings in February 2026, with a 0.23% rating and a 58% market share. Super Radyo DZBB is among the 21 stations of GMA Radio that deliver timely headlines, breaking news, and comprehensive special coverage.
GMA News also delivered its fresh and timely news updates online, via GMA News Online and its social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, and TikTok. GMA Network, the parent entity of the news agency, was ranked №26 in the Tubular Leadership Worldwide Ranking in the Entertainment and Media category for February 2026, according to data from global analytics company Tubular Labs.
GMA News reaffirms its trusted and familiar identity while continuing to evolve in the digital age. It will remain committed to informing, empowering, and serving Filipinos with clear and truthful reporting.
