These six Top Kiddie Hopefuls are about to contend for the Final Showdown of this children’s singing competition based on Fremantle’s “Idols” franchise this coming September 27 and 28, 2025, with Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Angeline Quinto, Juan Karlos, and Gary Valenciano are about to take judge on their performances of these hopefuls.
In the earlier episode of Idol Kids Philippines, in an ABS-CBN Press Release, Filipino boy group BGYO performed their latest track “Headlines,” featuring members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate. The crowd was also energized by the powerful performance of “Idol Philippines” Season 2 grand winner Khimo Gumatay, who sang his new single, “Isayaw Mo Lang.”
Below are the kiddie hopefuls made their top 6 spots for the Final Showdown this weekend:
– Contestant Klied made a spot through a stirring rendition of Rivermaya’s “Liwanag sa Dilim,” that showcased his clarity and control in his vocals while carrying deep emotion in every note.
– Contestant Sean also showcased his vocal sincerity in “Himala,” also sung by Rivermaya, highlighting emotional depth that resonated with the audience.
– Contestant Yassi clinched the sixth and final spot through her performance of Freddie Aguilar’s classic “Anak,” that showcases her ability to deliver depth and emotion through song.
