But during the time when this debut EP was released on all streaming platforms, it swiftly claimed the top spot on iTunes Philippines albums chart while all of its tracks simultaneously occupied the top seven of the songs chart, as well as it breached it’s 100-thousand mark in online streams in just 24 hours from the time it dropped in on Spotify. As of June 30, 2025 at 19h40, all of the songs in this seven-track EP had a total of 187,002 streams.
In an ABS-CBN PR article involving her debut EP, this mini album leans on the pop and light sound with its seven tracks which are “Hay Naku,” “Self Love Era,” “Overthink,” “Kung Pwede,” “For You,” “No Conversation,” and “Shooting Star” featuring an another alum of the same edition, Jarren Garcia. It was overall produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
Kai seamlessly blends English, Filipino, and Cebuano lyrics in the key track “Overthink,” which speaks not only about being cautious in love but also reminding oneself to not be consumed by overthinking. The song was composed by Trisha Denise and produced by Rox Santos. That key track, however as of this writing of this post, was also the most listened track among all of the songs in this EP on Spotify, with 46,200 streams.
