The It’s Showtime “Awaaard” is part of the recently concluded 17th anniversary celebration for the noontime show, which featured special performances and segments together with star-studded appearances of various celebrities and personalities.
Meanwhile, the DRPS PHCA TV Ad Listings showed that It’s Showrtime continued to air at least a hundred TV ads in a day on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, GMA, and A2Z, during the commercial break within the period of the entire anniversary week against Eat Bulaga, which aired fewer than 30 TV Ads in a single day, despite questions that have emerged over the advertising support received by the noontime show.
MediaBytes shared on their blog post, featuring our TV Ad Listings for It’s Showtime and Eat Bulaga on October 21 and 23, 2026, and said that “the apparent difference has prompted comparisons between the two competing noontime programs, particularly in terms of their ability to attract advertising placements and maintain commercial support.”
As for the airing of It’s Showitme “Awaaard” broadcast on October 24, 2026, it aired about 101 TV Ads on Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, and GMA, whereas there were 98 TV Ads on A2Z, omitting an online gambling advertisement for some of the three commercial gaps among the four within that period. Eat Bulaga also aired 37 TV Ads on TV5 and RPTV, about 9 TV Ads more than on the previous day’s airing, but still lower than It’s Showtime.
As competition in the Philippine noontime television landscape continues, the reported figures have sparked discussion about the advertising performance of the two long-running programs, MediaBytes concluded in their blog post.
The DRPS PHCA TV Ad Listings recorded the commercial breaks of these two shows (via DTT and via live streaming) during the period from October 19 to 24, 2026, and accurately counted all the TV ads in each commercial gap aired within the period from 12:00 to 14:30 (from 11:25 for Eat Bulaga on Saturdays).
