If you’ve just read this blog post, and you’re seeing a new set of TV Shows on TV5’s primetime block, then that means your favorite ABS-CBN Shows that feature some of the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemates, like ROJA and What Lies Beneath, along with FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, ASAP, and Your Face Sounds Familiar, are no longer seen on TV5 as of January 1, 2026, following the move to ALLTV2, under the “Kapamilya Channel sa ALLTV2” brand, which launched a day after.
But fret not, because if you flip to Channel 2 or rescan your digital set-top boxes to find ALLTV2 (including A2Z), you’ll be able to catch some of the action-packed episodes of ROJA and more grieving revelations in What Lies Beneath – starring Kai Montinola as Ice, and Kolette Madelo as Young Liezel. Both of these shows are among the top shows on Netflix and on iWant today (yes, ROJA is in the Top 3 and What Lies Beneath is in the Top 2 on iWant Philippines), with a peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live (for the episode aired yesterday, January 5, 2026) of 541,446 (ROJA) and 222,313 (WLB), respectively.
For ROJA, the series promises more high-stakes action and shocking plot twists as Liam (Donny) and Olsen (Kyle), along with Luna (Maymay Entrata), join forces with the police and fight tooth and nail to escape from the heavily guarded La Playa Roja resort, which is being held hostage by hostage-takers.
Along with the ongoing siege, more thrilling revelations will also unfold among the victims as the feud between husband and wife, Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing) and Greta (Lorna Tolentino), intensifies when dark secrets from their past begin to surface – hinting at a possible love triangle involving Wendy (Janice De Belen), Greta’s good friend and Olsen’s mother. With this new development, suspicions will also arise regarding the true identity of Olsen’s father.
Mounting problems will also cause emotional turmoil for Greta, as her own son Liam questions her true motives when he catches her in a secret conversation over the phone with an unidentified individual.
On the other hand, the leader of the hostage-takers, Emil (Joel Torre), will face his own problems. For one, he will do everything in his power to get revenge on Magnus for dumping his daughter Ayen (Yassi Pressman) after their whirlwind affair. He will also have to devise a solution when his own men attempt to surrender to the authorities.
As the number of deaths continues to increase, can Liam and Olsen find a way to survive? How will they face the bombshell revelations that are about to unfold?
For What Lies Beneath, weeks of speculation finally come to an explosive end as the identity of “Bana”—the mysterious figure mentioned in Louisa’s (Mutya Orquia) heartbreaking love letter—is finally revealed, unlocking a powerful and unexpected girl-love (GL) storyline that reshapes the search for her killer.
In a revelation that left viewers stunned, Liezel (Mary Joy Apostol) confesses that she is Bana—the woman Louisa loved. The truth comes out following a heated confrontation involving Beth (Charlie Dizon), Erica (Kaila Estrada), Mel (Sue Ramirez), Alice (Janella Salvador), Angelo (Marlo Mortel), and Ryan (Yves Flores)—after questions arise over how Louisa’s letter ended up in Angelo’s possession.
Liezel’s confession pulls back the curtain on a secret romance marked by fear, sacrifice, and forbidden love. She opens up about her relationship with Louisa and their dream of leaving Amurao together after graduation—plans that are tragically derailed when her father, Pastor Samuel, discovers their relationship.
