Two years ago, ABS-CBN marked another milestone not only with the launch of Kapamilya Online Live and the ABS-CBN shutdown on May 5, 2020, but also in the history of Pinoy Big Brother, as Fyang Smith, Kai Montinola, Kolette Madelo, and Rain Celmar emerged as part of the Gen 11 Big 4, which was announced a week earlier (with the eviction of JM Ibarra from the Big Brother house).
Dubbed for PBB Gen 11’s Big Night as “The Final Stage at the Big Night,” it aired on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5 on October 26, 2024, with opening performances of several ex-housemates of Pinoy Big Brother before Gen 11, as well as the ex-housemates of the said season – Therese Villamor, Kanata Tapia, Marc Nanninga, Brx Ruiz, Dingdong Bahan, Patrick Ramirez, Jan Silva, Joli Alferez, Gwen Montano, Dylan Yturralde, Jas Dudley-Scales, Jarren Garcia, Binsoy Namoca, JP Cabrera, and JM Ibarra.

Noimie Steikunas, who is also an ex-housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, was not present at both the Big Night and the “Aba Ayos Reunion Special”, which aired the day after the finale, as she was currently in abroad at the time being.
In the announcement of the Big Placers and Big Winner of PBB Gen 11, it was first announced that Kai Montinola was the 4th Big Placer with 17.38% of BBS votes (from the Maya app), taking home PHP 200,000.00 in cash and special prizes from its sponsors, Ponds and Cream Silk.
It was followed by Kolette Madelo, who took the 3rd Big Placer spot with a slim margin of 25.91% BBS votes, taking home PHP 300,000.00 in cash, and Rain Celmar, with 26.05% BBS votes, also took home PHP 500,000.00. With Rain proclaimed the 2nd Big Placer upon announcement on air, Fyang Smith, with 30.66% of BBS votes, was declared Big Winner, taking home a million-peso cash prize and a house and lot from Vista Land.
Fyang Smith, who is the Anakabogerang Influencer of Mandaluyong and the 18th big winner of Pinoy Big Brother since its launch on August 21, 2005, later emerged as an artist through her artistry and partnership with co-ex-housemate JM Ibarra, as an artist from Star Magic, the network’s talent agency firm. Apart from Fyang, all ex-housemates, except Brx and Noimie, also joined Star Magic and have appeared in several projects that were produced by ABS-CBN or any other entertainment production entity.

As for the show’s Big Night broadcast, it achieved more than 2.26 million concurrent live stream views on Kapamilya Online Live, with Nielsen NUTAM reporting that the PBB Gen 11 Big Night was voted by 10.7% of viewers (based on preliminary/overnight data). The show also gained further online traction on X/Twitter in the Philippines, when the show’s hashtag, PBBGen11BigNight, as well as the names and taglines related to the PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates, its big placers, and our Big Winner Fyang Smith, were listed in the trending list.
The live Big Night broadcast was helmed by the season’s Pamilya Ni Kuya – Bianca Gonzalez, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Alexa Ilacad.
In later months, several ex-housemates of PBB Gen 11 appeared in various television programs, digital series, microdramas, cinematic films, music releases (single or EP album), music videos, and theatrical plays, which later won in several award-giving bodies not only in the Philippines, but also elsewhere in the world.
