Bilang artista, kailangan piliin mong mabuti ang mga project at advocacy mo. For example, itong Planet XP, meron siyang campaign para sa iba’t ibang community sa Pilipinas at pino-promote nito ang pag-aalaga sa nature. – Miguel Tanfelix
From May 2 to 30, 2026, every Saturday at 18:30 (after 24 Oras Weekend), GMA Network, in partnership with the National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT), as part of being a grantee of the 2024 National Endowment Fund for Children’s Television (NEFCTV), together with its Ultimate Heartthrob, Miguel Tanfelix, will deliver his passion in traveling and self-discovery that thousands of netizens hit the heart button about his posts in South America in the last year, as the host of the newest magazine infotainment offering, Planet XP.
Napatunayan ko rito na hindi sapat na pinapanood mo lang sa social media ‘yung adventures. Kailangan ma-experience mo firsthand ang pag-connect sa nature dahil marami kang matututunan, Miguel reacted about his hosting in Planet XP.
Gusto ko talaga na maging involved sa ganitong uri ng trabaho. Na-e-enjoy kong ma-experience ‘yung mga adventure kasi mas natututo ako. Gaya nung outdoor activities na na-try ko rito, for me it’s a recharge. Kahit nakakapagod physically, masaya siya emotionally. May fulfillment, he added.
The newest infotainment offering, presented with Filipino Sign Language and Closed Captions, delivers an immersive adventure and real-life encounters with nature. Miguel was able to try mountain climbing, windsurfing, and connect with indigenous people, among other activities. The show will showcase the beauty of the Philippines.
There is a sense of responsibility. Mas maraming batang nakatingin sa iyo, mas marami kang gustong gawing tama sa mundo para ma-inspire sila na gumawa rin ng tama sa ibang tao at sa kalikasan, Miguel reiterated about the testaments of his conscious efforts to become a role model to the youth.
Planet XP is among the TV shows from GMA Network that are part of the Be Juan Tama campaign of the GMA Entertainment Group. Miguel Tanfelix was also part of the campaign, alongside Boy Abunda, Chris Tiu, and Dingdong Dantes, the respective hosts of GMA Afternoon Prime talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, as well as other infotainment shows on GMA that aired on weekends, including iBILIB and Amazing Earth. The advocacy, with the slogan of “Matuto, Matuwa,” encouraged its viewers and younger audiences to educate themselves by choosing any content that fosters mental, emotional, and social growth.
GMA Entertainment Group organizes the Be Juan Tama Campaign. It is in partnership with GMA Synergy, ANAK TV, the National Council for Children’s Television (NCTV), the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the Philippine Women’s University (PWU), and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).
The full episodes of the infotainment show will also be available on the YouTube Channels of GMA Network and GMA Playground.
