Based on the wildcard round’s final tally of votes, for Sparkle artists-former housemates, Charlie received the highest BBS vote of 40.44%, with Josh Ford got 33.16% BBS votes, and Ashley Ortega got 26.40%. For Star Magic artists-former housemates, the highest BBS votes received upon the closure of voting lines, is that Ralph made a landslide win from returning inside the house – voted by 81.28%, vs. AC Bonifacio’s 14.22% and Kira Balinger’s 4.50%.
However, when the final tally of votes have been announced when Ashley Ortega received the lowest percentage of BBS Votes in terms of Sparkle artists, the fans of Ashley posted on X calls out to “Boycott PBB” and for “a justice for Ashley Ortega’s return inside the house” over the voting results.
According to an X/Twitter post from the account handle of “TEAMASHLEYYOFC”, they said that there is no countdown to close it’s voting lines, causing the closure it’s BBS voting on the Maya app, and it’s results would be revealed the day after the housemates’ first day of “The Big Carnival Concert” that aired live last Saturday, May 17, 2025. And at last, the fans of that ex-housemate said that it “cheated” the results, letting them to boycott Pinoy Big Brother out of these reasons, apart from calling out the reality show as “scripted”.
Whatever the happenings involving the voting results, not only for wildcard but also for BBS votings on the Maya app, we should respect each and every current and former housemates of PBB Collab, this agitating issue should be stopped.
In fact, as based on the May 17, 2025 episode of PBB Collab, before their Big Carnival performances, they’ve announced that they only have 44 minutes to vote on the Maya app. However when the final minutes had approached to close it’s votings during the said performance, the hosts have announced that the viewers will only have ten (10) seconds to vote, but right after that, the votings have been closed.
The final tally of votes was not shown to the public until it was revealed on the following episode after (on May 18, 2025), when it was shown to people before it revealed that Charlie and Ralph returns the house, as well as the final votes standing of it, that displays the images of the ex-housemates of PBB Collab who will not return back based on the results, i.e. Kira, AC, Ashley, and Josh.
Some people online (on X/Twitter) also reacted to “TEAMASHLEYYOFC” involving how high that the BBS votes of Charlie are worth for her return, while others also talked about the political stance of Ashley, prior to her entry inside the house.
In terms for their Big Carnival Concert Weekly task, they’ve made a successful turn on the second day – in which they’ve passed two out of the three circus acts, making the 133% of their weekly budget have been deposited to their Maya Savings account, amounting to P360,190.39 to this date, while they’ve decided to Save with Maya to continue keeping their savings to grow.
