PHCA Politicalism 2025: AKBAYAN & TINGOG Partylists, wins 3 seats in the congress, Duterte Youth & BH Partylists, suspends proclamation

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) proclaims AKBAYAN and TINGOG Partylists, in which they’ve won three seats in the congress, as it have been voted by 6.63% and 4.34% of people last May 12, 2025. Duterte Youth, in which it’s been voted by 5.57%, was suspended from proclaiming.

The reason why Duterte Youth suspends it’s proclamation of winning three seats in the congress, is because of some of the pending disqualification cases, including the a DQ case from 2019. The proclamation was held recently on Monday afternoon at the Manila Hotel.

Additionally, BH (Bagong Henerasyon) Partylist was also suspended from proclaiming as well, also due to their pending cases. The said partylist group was voted by 0.77% of registered voters, equivalent to 315,937 votes, winning only one seat in the Congress.

Other partylist groups, like 4PS, ACT-CIS, and Ako Bicol will also receive two seats for the 20th congress, while about 47 partylist group will also win one seat each as well. Only 52 out of the 54 partylist groups have been proclaimed.
