That was what Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo had said during the July 5, 2025 PBB Collab The Big Night broadcast held at the New Frontier Theater, wherein they, known for BreKa Duo, was proclaimed as the 19th and 20th Big Winners of Pinoy Big Brother since it’s launch in August 21, 2005 (the first one was Nene Tamayo, from PBB Season 1).
The PBB Collab Big Night, as the people may probably also know, made a special performances and appearances from Bianca Umali, Michelle Dee, Donny Pangilinan, and the edition’s ex-housemates, prior to the time when the three Big Placers (AZVer, CharEs, and RaWi) are named, followed by the Big Winner (BreKa) was proclaimed.
PBB Collab made a historic ground ever since, when the first-ever edition of PBB to feature celebrity housemates of Star Magic and Sparkle, the two networks’ respective talent agencies to commemorate the reality show’s 20th year of airing, while the entirety made an introduction of duos and cross-network camaraderie.
And for this, we will have a Mini-Explainer involving PBB Collab Big Night. In a recent social media post from the Teleserye ng Totoong Buhay, the Big Night Broadcast was seen by about 1,435,183 of Kapamilyas and Kapusos online, combining those from Kapamilya Online Live, Kapuso Stream, and iWant YouTube Channels, with it’s pre-show was seen by about 133,363 of people on PBB YouTube. The pre-show also drawn by about 3,150,246 of peak viewers (not concurrent) on Facebook as well.
To justify the issue of “Peak Concurrent Viewers” and “Peak Views” as circulated on it’s social media accounts, and to also compare it with the previous edition’s Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11, under the title of The Final Stage at the Big Night last October 26, 2024, the word “Peak Concurrent Viewers” refer to the number of simultaneous online viewers who are watching a live stream on any part of the social media at the same time, i.e. Kapamilya Online Live and Kapuso Stream on Facebook and YouTube, whereas “Peak Views” refer to the number of individual views that a live streaming content was seen within the time when it is shown online, and will continue to gain its views even the live streaming has ended.
And if you compare the number of Peak Concurrent Viewers of Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 and Celebrity Collab Edition’s respective Big Night broadcasts, PBB Gen 11’s The Final Stage at the Big Night, wherein it named Fyang Smith as the 18th Big Winner of PBB, with Kai Montinola, Kolette Madelo, and Rain Celmar are the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd Respective Big Placers of that edition, draws a concurrent viewership record of 2.26 million people on Kapamilya Online Live – an all-time high since it’s launch, while PBB Collab had a PCV of about 1.43 million people combined. Thus, PBB Gen 11 remained the most viewed Big Night live broadcast.
In terms of TV Ratings (Nielsen NUTAM Report, July 5, 2025), the Big Night Broadcast of PBB Collab was voted by about 11.0% of people on GMA alone, vs. Tao Po’s 1.5% (c. KapCha and A2Z). It is 0.3% higher than PBB Gen 11 Big Night’s 10.7% (Nielsen NUTAM Report, c. KapCha, A2Z, and TV5, October 26, 2024).
The hashtag of PBB Collab Big Night’s broadcast, which is “PBBCollabTheBigNight”, had drawn over half a million of social media posts on X/Twitter, with about thirty (30) topics are talking about online, involving the Big 4 Duos, the ex-housemates, the special guests, the hosts, and among other related stuff. PBB Gen 11 however, as posted at 23h36 of October 26, 2024, the Big Night’s hashtag, “PBBGen11BigNight”, drawed about 13.6K of online posts on the same platform (just about three hours after 20h30, the time when PBB Gen 11 Big Night was started), with about thirty-two (32) related trends are also talking about it, as shown in the following appendices.
