Previously, in Connect and Kumunity, the votings are done via 2366 Text Line (except for Kumunity Adults and Teens, and also used before Connect) and via the Kumu App (through sending virtual gifts to BBS or BBE a housemate).
Now many people elsewhere are giving questions on how to Vote to Save or Vote to Evict with Maya, the voting partner of PBB Gen 11. Here’s how to do it:
– If you do have a Maya account, and if your wallet balance is not sufficient yet, cash in the minimum amount of at least P10 on any retail stores, or via bank transfer.
– If you do not have a Maya account, download the app on Google Play, App Store, and Huawei App Gallery. Create an account, and complete the steps until you have been completed your account verification. Please be advised that the account upgrade requires you to have only one valid ID to complete this step.
– Once done creating an account and cashing in, look for the “PBB” icon. It is symbolized with the PBB 2021-present logo.
– You must accept the permission in order to vote to save or evict. Click continue to proceed.
– Once accepted, choose your housemate you want to save or to evict. Use the “Save” tab to save a housemate or the “Evict” tab to evict a housemate. To date, the nominated housemates, as previously mentioned in the 1st nomination night held last July 28, 2024, the options are: “Dylan Yturralde”, “Noimie Steikunas”, and “Therese Villamor”.
– Once you select the housemate you want to vote, you have three options on how many votes you want to save or evict – P10 for 10 votes, P50 for 50 votes, and P100 for 110 votes.
– Tap the vote button on each of the three options. You do not need to confirm to vote with the specified amount. The amount specified on the amount of votes will be deducted from your Maya wallet balance.
Upon confirmation, you will receive a confirmation message from Maya, informing that you have been voted to save or evict: “You paid PHP(amount) at PINOY BIG BROTHER. Your balance is PHP(balance). Ref. No. (referrence id).” It is also refelected in your Maya app page, as the transaction will read “PBB Save/Evict (HM Name) x10/x50/x110”.
Take note that you only have fifteen times to vote per day, and it will reset back to fifteen at midnight of the following day, if you ran out or you partially have more chances to vote.
