PBB Gen 11 Blog: Star Magic issued a statement involving a death threat vs. JM Ibarra

Hey there, fans of JM Ibarra, including JMFyang (with Fyang Smith) – we all know that you’re excited for the outcome of the currently ongoing 6th Village Pipol (VP) Choice Awards that is currently happening right now, as well as his upcoming online series on iWantTFC, “Ghosting”, his upcoming Cinemalaya 2025 entry film, “Child no. 82” (which also starred Kai Montinola in here), and the upcoming Star Magic All Star Games 2025, in which he will be part of the Star Magic Shooting Stars Basketball Team (along with Marc Nanninga).

We have heard the news that Star Magic, one of the talent agency led by the Kapamilya Network, had issued a statement involving a social media post of “Jarfia” in a Facebook group named “JMFyang Angels”, that caused a life-threatening effects against our Poginsyanong Pilo-To Be of Quezon, JM Ibarra. In their official statement, it stated that “Star Magic does not tolerate threats, derogatory remarks, and other personal attacks made online against our artists. These acts have serious and damaging consequences and we will take legal action, if necessary,” the management of the Kapamilya Network’s talent agency said in it’s statement.

The DRPS PHCA, disagreed that what a Facebook user had posted involving a death threat against our Poginsyanong Pilo-To Be of PBB Gen 11. As what PBB had warned during the time when the New Gen Teleserye ng Totoong Buhay was around on TV, spreading negative, malicious, hurtful, or defamatory comments, and serious threats against the New Gen Housemates of PBB that turned Star Magic Artists of today. These can be considered criminal offenses, and the management of Star Magic will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone found to have violated the laws regarding cyberbullying and cyber libel.
