I wrote this song para maka-feel ng lightness, kilig, at spark ulit sa buhay. – Zion Aguirre
ABS-CBN Music-Tarsier Records singer-songwriter Zion Aguirre, known for his previously released tracks, including Paradise, Sunshine, Yakap, Promise, Fallin, and In Another Life (from Bigkas EP), will capture the thrilling rush of a happy crush in his upcoming single, titled Mahiwaga, set to release on all music streaming platforms on May 22, 2026.
The alternative dream pop track composed by himself and handled by Jhay Ehidio dives into the irresistible feeling of being drawn to someone who feels almost magical—hard to explain, yet impossible to ignore.
In one of the teaser videos published by Tarsier Records on social media, Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 Kapamilya ex-housemate Fred Moser will appear in the official music video of the song, set to release on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 19:00 (Philippine Standard Time) on the official YouTube Channel of the record label.
Apart from Fred, another celebrity will also feature in the music video, as seen in the teaser video. Rumors said in the comments section of the teaser video that Kanata Tapia, an ex-housemate from Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, may also appear in the said music video.
Kanata previously appeared in Mahiyain (Arkin Lagman, 2025) and Ako Na Sana (Jeri Violago, 2025) music videos, as well as in her online series appearances in Tropang G.O.A.T. (UXS, 2025) and Love Is Never Gone (Dreamscape Entertainment, 2026).
Zion also released his previous song under the same record label upon his return, titled Ayoko Na, featuring PBB alums Jasmine Dudley-Scales (Gen 11) and Argel Saycon (Otso), who appeared in the music video released a year ago.
