Heads up, subscribers of Cignal TV – just in case you might have heard the news that the ABS-CBN News Channel became available on your satellite TV subscription as of last week (March 27, 2026), then you might be able to check out all the credible news to every Filipino home, wherever they live.
For almost thirty years since its first airing via cable TV platforms, the ABS-CBN News Channel, or ANC for short, was known for its flagship programs that help shape national conversations, including Headstart with Karen Davila, Dateline Philippines with Karmina Constantino, Top Story with Ron Cruz and Denice Dinsay, Market Edge with Michelle Ong, The World Tonight with Tony Velasquez, Executive Class with David Celdran, Beyond the Exchange with Rico Hizon, and Business Outlook with Salve Ibanez and Ron Cruz.
The ABS-CBN News Channel is available to all subscribers of Cignal TV via Channel 27. If you are unable to find the channel on your Cignal TV box, you may need to rescan using the remote control that came with your Cignal TV DVB-S/DVB-S2 set-top box.
Press the Menu button on your Cignal TV set-top box remote control, then select “System Setup” or “Installation”. Enter the 4-digit PIN code of the Cignal TV set-top box (default PINs 0000 or 9998, or your chosen PIN code if you have changed it). Next, select Satellite Scan or Channel Scan, and press the Green button to initiate the process.
It may take a few minutes to complete the channel rescan process of your Cignal TV set-top box. Once it’s complete, you can find the ABS-CBN News Channel on Channel 27 of your Cignal TV set-top box. Please note that the channel rescan process for Cignal TV may vary depending on the set-top box brand and model, as well as your subscription (either a standalone subscription using a satellite dish or included with a PLDT Home Fiber subscription).
For those who are not subscribed to Cignal TV, the ABS-CBN News Channel is also available to all iWant subscribers (Basic or Premium), Sky Cable (CATV via Copper), and Sky TV (Pay TV over Converge FiberX or Sky TruFiber subscription, depending on the Sky TV plan you have).
It is also available on most Pay TV providers. Contact your local Pay TV provider for the complete list of channels of your subscription, do channel surfing using the remote control of your TV or CATV set-top box, or visit the official social media accounts and/or website of your CATV provider.
