Furthermore, the casts of the ABS-CBN primetime series Blood vs. Duty, headlined by Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, and Gerald Anderson, are all set for their center stage in an action-packed tale of national conflict, which is bound by duty, truthfulness, and choices, and a mission to mitigate rampant gun violence, ahead of the premiere day on April 3, 2026, via Netflix.

Meet Lara Angeles, played by Bela, an investigative agent marked by a painful past, who is indeed action-driven, which features a fresh narrative that aspires to push the boundaries of television storytelling for the series. Bela teased in an interview on Kapamilya Chat, saying that it has fast-paced action.

Maaksyon talaga siya, as in ang fast-paced niya. I’m so impressed with the writing of the show. I want to push for intelligent content, especially on mainstream media. Itaas natin ang quality, and I think Blood vs. Duty is trying to do that, Bela said in an interview on Kapamilya Chat.

Fans of the upcoming Kapamilya series have noticed a hidden element of the Philippine flag in the series poster, designed by Justin Besana, with the lead stars positioned as the three stars at the heart of the conflict. Julie Anne Benitez, the business unit head of JRB Creative Production, explained that the poster vividly conveyed their vision for the series, and how it reflects the lead stars carrying different aspects of one story, three perspectives, one nation, one youth.

The other Kapamilya Chat interviews with Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson, respectively, stated that Blood vs. Duty will deliver the intense action the series has to offer, and viewers will appreciate how each character unfolds, as well as how the audience is kept on the edge of their seats every episode.

Siyempre yung action namin nandyan to intensify the story. Pero I think dito sa Blood vs. Duty talagang kakapit yung audience natin sa kwento, sa characters. Malalim yung pinagdadaanan ng mga characters dito, Richard said. He portrays Marcus Reyes as a special agent.

Bawat episode nasa dulo kayo ng upuan ninyo. Di ninyo alam anong mangyayari. Ang ganda kasi ng bawat karakter. This is an ensemble cast, kanya-kayang napakagandang kwento, as Gerald said. He portrays Jalil Abukar, a community protector drawn into a confrontation with government forces over allegations of arms dealing.

Apart from the lead casts, Baron Geisler, the fearless agent Felix Domingo, and Barbie Imperial, who takes on the role of the kind yet fierce Jamilah Abubakar, join the series, including Rommel Padilla, Susan Africa, Malou Crisologo, Gerald Madrid, Alex Medina, JV Kapunan, Binsoy Namoca, Rocky Labayen, Bobot Mortiz, Ejay Falcon, Geoff Eigenmann, Elmo Magalona, Antonio Aquitania, Dino Imperial, and Junjun Quintana.

An Unforgettabolabolabol Update for PBB Gen 11 fans

Kanata Tapia completes Senior High, Patrick Ramirez announces DongPat breakup (with Dingdong Bahan)

On March 31, 2026, Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemate Kanata Tapia, also known as Kanachii and dubbed the “Lola-Ving Apo of Occidental Mindoro”, completed her journey as she graduated from the Senior High School of Rizal National High School, according to her social media post on April 1, 2026.

Thank you for seeing my potential not just as a student, but as someone who could bring pride to our school in different ways. Thank you for your endless patience, your heartfelt understanding, and your belief that I could chase my dreams and earn my diploma, Tapia said.

You didn’t just educate me; you gave me the freedom to grow into who I’m meant to be. I will always wear the name “Rizalian” with the greatest pride and love in my heart, she added.

Before her PBB Gen 11 journey, she competed in the 58th Ms. RNHS that happened on April 26, 2024 (as a part of the 58th founding anniversary of the school). Kanata was proclaimed as the 2024 Ms. Rizal NHS in the coronation night.

At the age of 16, she joined Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 as a housemate when the reality show premiered on July 20, 2026. Following her eviction with Marc Nanninga on the 2nd eviction night, she appeared in two music videos (as of October 2025), “Ako Na Sana” (Jeri Violago) and “Mahiyain” (Arkin Lagman), and played the role of Chiyaki in the iWant series titled “Tropang G.O.A.T.”

Kanata reached all the Batch 2026 graduates of RNHS; some discovered their purpose along the way. As Kanata is a part of Pride of Rizal, they have learned to rise, adapt, and lift one another, no matter where life leads us; this place will always be their home.

Meanwhile, Patrick Ramirez announces the separation of DongPat’s partner, Dingdong Bahan, on his recent Instagram post, a few years after they paired up for DongPat, more than three months before Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 premiered.

Dingdong Bahan and Patrick Ramirez, known colloquially as DongPat, are two-in-one PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates based in Taguig and Maynila, respectively. They were dubbed by fans as Starfish, which Patrick called their supporters, a big thanks for their unwavering engagement with them. Dingdong was monikered as the “Charismatic Partner”, while Patrick was known as the “Go-Getter Partner”. They were both evicted from the Big Brother house on the 4th eviction night.

They appeared in a recently ended Kapamilya primetime series, What Lies Beneath, playing the roles of Tim Brocka and Tomas Justo, in honor of two gay activists during Martial Law. They were also featured in a music video sung by Vice Ganda titled Rainbow Christmas.

Patrick thanked Dingdong for his continued trust, acceptance, and love over the past few years.
