As previously announced on July 3, 2026, TV5 Network announced that two of their primetime shows, A Secret In Prague (Andrea Brillantes and Enrique Gil) and My Bespren Emman (JM de Guzman and Shaina Magdayao), will soon air on all ABS-CBN channels and online platforms, such as Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant, ALLTV2, and A2Z, effective on July 27, 2026.
What’s changing: TV5 shows on ABS-CBN
In line with this announcement, the two TV5 Entertainment-produced shows will air on these new time slots, beginning on July 27, 2026. For My Bespren Emman, the inspirational drama will move to an earlier timeslot of 14:30, after Eat Bulaga (for TV5 viewers) or It’s Showtime (for ABS-CBN viewers, excluding GMA). The show will compete against Born To Shine, one of the GMA Afternoon Prime series airing at the same timeslot following It’s Showtime.
The programming change will also affect the primetime programming for both ABS-CBN and TV5 on the same day. Apart from the hit action-romance drama, Coco Martin’s Sigabo (headlined by Coco Martin and Julia Montes), airing at 20:00 (after TV Patrol for ABS-CBN viewers, or Frontline Pilipinas for TV5 viewers), the much-awaited comeback of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador will premiere on July 27, 2026, titled Someone Someday, produced by ABS-CBN Studios-Dreamscape Entertainment, airing at 20:45.
Also in the programming change after airing these two ABS-CBN Studios-produced shows, is the airing of another TV5 Entertainment-produced drama, A Secret In Prague, airing on a later timeslot of 21:30. The series previously moved its timeslot to 20:45 on June 22, 2026 (alongside My Bespren Emman at 21:30), following the airing of Coco Martin’s Sigabo on the Kapatid network since it premiered on ABS-CBN channels, including Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV2, and A2Z.
Both Someone Someday and A Secret In Prague are also streaming three days in advance exclusively for Netflix subscribers. The programming change for ABS-CBN Shows will replace Blood vs. Duty and The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan, which will air their respective finale episodes on July 24, 2026.
On July 27, 2026: PBBM’s 5th SONA TV Coverage – Afternoon Programming is also affected for that day only
Additionally, the programming change will also affect the afternoon programming lineup of ABS-CBN, TV5, and GMA, but only on July 27, 2026, as all television, radio, and digital media networks will air a special coverage for the 5th State of the Nation Address from the Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The State of the Nation Address Special Coverage of GMA News, seen over GMA, GTV, and GMA News social media accounts at 15:30, is led by the award-winning broadcast journalist Pia Archangel. ABS-CBN’s coverage for PBBM’s 5th SONA, seen over ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), Kapamilya Online Live, ABS-CBN News Social Media, ANC 24/7 YouTube Live Streaming, and iWant at 15:15, is led by Karen Davilla and Alvin Elchico.
Regular afternoon programming on ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5, respectively branded under Kapamilya Gold, Afternoon Prime, and Hapon Champion programming blocks, will resume on July 28, 2026.
