DRPS PHCA Free Entertainment: GMA Network App is now GMA Play

The country’s leading TV and Radio broadcaster, GMA Network, and its digital media entity, GMA New Media, rebranded their mobile app from the broadcaster’s name (GMA Network) as GMA Play on February 8, 2026, with an app update issued to all Android and iOS device users with their old app installed without a separate download. The streaming service is also available on their website at https://www.gmanetwork.com/gmaplay (click here).

The GMA Play app and website are designed to stream all GMA Network-produced news, documentary, drama, entertainment, and film content from GMA Entertainment Group, GMA Public Affairs, and GMA Integrated News, including Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, Never Say Die, Family Feud, Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Hating Kapatid, House of Lies, Unica Hija, TiktoClock, Bubble Gang, and many other shows.

And since the latest edition of Pinoy Big Brother, under Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, is still airing for the final three weeks of the edition, they can also watch not only all of the episodes of the reality show, but also the All-Access Livestream, at no extra charge.

As GMA’s premier entertainment and news streaming platform, GMA Play brings Kapuso content closer to viewers, keeping them entertained with the latest programs and informed about the latest news developments. Through the video streaming app, netizens can also revisit and enjoy once again GMA’s previous binge-worthy hits anytime, anywhere.

Designed for today’s fast-paced, mobile-centric lifestyle, GMA Play offers entertainment experiences curated to evolving viewing habits. With a diverse lineup that includes drama, romance, comedy, fantasy, news, and documentaries, as well as beloved Asianovelas, a wide selection of local and foreign movies, and many more Kapuso content, netizens can enjoy them all with the flexibility and convenience made possible through GMA Play.

The GMA Play app is available for download on the Google Play Store for Android devices and on the Apple App Store for iOS devices. Huawei device users are encouraged to visit the GMA Play website instead, as this is not yet available on the Huawei AppGallery. It is also available on Smart TVs with Google TV, offering convenient, seamless, and anytime viewing on a larger screen. Upon installing the app, users are required to log in with a Kapuso account. If you do not have one, you can register directly on the app or on the GMANetwork.com website.

Based on the DRPS PHCA’s testing of the app, the Kapuso Stream, the PBB Collab 2.0 All-Access live streaming, and a selection of films available on the app rely on YouTube. The Episodes of several Kapuso shows are hosted on Dailymotion, under GMA Network’s name. The app is completely free to use, with advertisements displayed before you watch content on the app or browse through posts in the entertainment, lifestyle, music, and news categories.

GMA New Media is a digital media and technology arm of GMA Network, Inc. Other apps include the news app GMA Integrated News, the NCAA Philippines app, and the GMA Now app, which is intended for users who have purchased the GMA Now DTV Dongle.
