For this week’s featured article of our newsletter, a New Weekly Task in PBB Collab 2.0 made a successful turnout, with Big Ticket revelations from voting to eliminations for the final three weeks.
For the last three weeks of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, we have seen a lot of intensive revelations, from their most recent task called Beyond Words, in which the housemates delivered a sign language singing performance of the reality show’s theme song, Kabataang Pinoy, which turned out to be successful, days after rehearsals for the Filipino Sign Language with the Kakamay Movement team, into their announcement about The Ultimate Eight, the Big Ticket through Housemates’ open voting and elimination challenge, and the announcement of the Big Jump Challenge, where the two eligible housemates will take a head-to-head challenge to take two spots in The Ultimate Eight.
To tackle all about the happenings of The Ultimate Eight, it is a group of housemates comprising the Big 4 Housemates of each agency (Star Magic and Sparkle) who will make it to the Big Night, scheduled to take place on February 28, 2026. At the moment, the details about the PBB Collab 2.0 Big Night, from where the live broadcast will take place, the prizes at stake for each Big Placer and the Big Winner, and possible appearances, along with the hosts of the reality show and the ex-housemates, will soon be announced by Pinoy Big Brother.
To determine among the ten remaining housemates to secure the Big 4 spot, two Kapuso and two Kapamilya housemates will face off in a Big Jump Challenge at the end of the week, scheduled to take place tomorrow, February 8, 2026.
For the housemates to be prepared for the Big Jump Challenge, only one Kapuso and one Kapamilya housemate will receive a ticket to take part in the BJC upon voting by the housemates. The other two (one each agency) will be done through an Elimination Challenge. At that point, it will determine which Kapuso and Kapamilya housemates will be part of The Ultimate Eight housemates for the Big Night.
For the first part of The Ultimate Eight formation, it started with the housemates’ open voting for The Big Jump Ticket. This will secure one of the two spots (per agency) for the Big Jump Challenge, based on the highest number of votes.
Based on an episode aired February 3, 2026, Kapuso Housemate Caprice Cayetano, with 4 votes, will receive a Big Ticket to the Big Jump Challenge. At the same time, Kapamilya Housemate Lella Ford, with 5 votes, will also receive one.
Kapuso Big Ticket Votes
- Marco Masa: 1
- Princess Aliyah: 1
- Ashley Sarmiento: 2
- Heath Jornales: 2
- Caprice Cayetano: 4
Kapamilya Big Ticket Votes
- Krystal Mejes: 0
- Miguel Vergara: 1
- Joaquin Arce: 1
- Carmelle Collado: 3
- Lella Ford: 5
For the Elimination Phase ahead of the Big Jump Head-To-Head Challenge, the non-winning housemates will decide which task they will perform for each agency.
In an episode aired on February 4, 2026, Kapamilya housemates decided to play an Ultimate Memory Game, where they had to memorize the sequence of thirty objects displayed on the screen. Then, they must build a “panungkit” to grab those objects and place them in the cell on their designated shelf. Occasionally, the plasma would display the correct order for a brief period.
With this challenge, Joaquin Arce achieved the right order provided in the plasma from the memory game, earning a Big Ticket to the Big Jump Challenge, which will take heads with Lella to secure a Kapamilya Big 4 Spot from The Ultimate Eight group.
In an episode aired on the following day (February 5, 2026), Kapuso housemates will perform a task called the Spool and Insanity challenge, which is divided into three parts. For the first part, the housemates are locked. To free themselves, they must count the number of triangles (27) displayed on top of a house drawing and subtract the said number by 8. They must multiply the answer by 6 to get 114, which was the code to unlock the lock. For the second part, they must repeatedly go around a spool of rope to lengthen it and to reach the colored blocks. For the third part, the housemates must stack the four blocks in such a way that each vertical side has no repeating color.
With this challenge, Marco Masa managed to crack the code, go around a spool of rope, and stack the four blocks vertically with no repetitions in each block’s color, earning a Big Ticket to the Big Jump Challenge, which will take heads with Caprice to secure a Kapuso Big 4 Spot from The Ultimate Eight group.
The Big Jump Challenge of PBB Collab 2.0 will take place by tomorrow, February 8, 2026. This challenge is a major turning point for Pinoy Big Brother. This occurs when the Big Night is approaching (February 28, 2026), and the remaining housemates are inside the house (there are 10 remaining housemates as of January 31, 2026, following the evictions of Sofia Pablo and Eliza Borromeo last week).
In PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0, the BJC is a special challenge where the Kapuso and Kapamilya housemates will take a head-to-head challenge to determine which one of the two nominated housemates of each agency (who’ve received the Big Ticket to the Big Jump, as previously mentioned here) will secure a spot for The Ultimate Eight.
For instance, there will be two housemates who will secure these spots in the Ultimate Eight, once this challenge has been completed and Big Brother announces the results – one for the Kapuso Big 4 and one for the Kapamilya Big 4, for the Big Night, provided that these slots from the Ultimate Eight group are filled. Therefore, if a Kapuso housemate and a Kapamilya housemate are not part of The Ultimate Eight, and these slots are filled, they will become the final evictees of PBB Collab 2.0.
Only ONE GROUP will make it to the Big Night by February 28, 2026, and it comprises EIGHT (8) HOUSEMATES – consisting of a Kapuso Big Four and a Kapamilya Big Four. As implied in The Big Collab Twist mechanics, and similarly to the previous PBB Collab season (as Duo Big Winner, where Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca are declared Big Winners of PBB Collab 1.0), if the Big Night has taken place on February 28, 2026, only ONE (1) Kapuso and ONE (1) Kapamilya housemate among the Big 4 housemates of each agency from The Ultimate Eight group will be declared as the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0 airs and streams on several GMA and ABS-CBN platforms daily.
