Massive Fake News Alert on September 25, 2023
There are posts in “Philippines Radio/TV Transmitter, Studio, Tower. Antenna” Facebook Group as shown in these photos that are full of FALSE CLAIMS. All of these claims as shown there are FALSE and MISLEADING:
1. An anonymous user posted a Facebook video on a group named “Philippines Radio/TV Transmitter, Studio, Tower. Antenna”, claiming that AMBS/ALLTV will be replaced by ABS-CBN by next year. Our Verdict is FALSE – To date, ALLTV will remain on-air on Metro Manila’s Analog RF Channel 2 and Digital RF 16 (AMBS) and 31 (BEAM), and will NOT RETURN ABS-CBN by that date. And for those who want to watch Kapamilya Shows over-the-air, you can enjoy them on their blocktimer channels (A2Z and TV5), as well as on GTV (for It’s Showtime only). They can also enjoy them on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and various CPI-owned Cable TV Channels available on most CATV Providers in the Philippines. Any claims that ALLTV will be replaced by ABS-CBN is considered FALSE and MISLEADING.
2. Recently, “Jonel” posted a text-based Facebook post on their own account, claiming that one of the still-leading primetime series on ABS-CBN Channels, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo that starred Coco Martin, is slated to air it’s finale episode by May 31, 2024. Our Verdict is FALSE – You can still enjoy the action-packed, yet highly anticipated TV Series of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5 and CINEMO!, as well as on iWantTFC and TFC IPTVOD, even beyonds that date. Any claims that this will air that series’ finale by May 31, 2023 are FALSE and MISLEADING.
3. Recently, “Jonel” posted a text-based Facebook post on their own account, claiming that a number of Filipino Personalities and well-known people (including those on politics), namely Gina Pareno, Randy David, Jerry Trenas, Marco Sison, King Gutierrez, Prospero Pitchay, and Nemesio Beltran will be passing away on the dates as what “Jonel” was mentioned. Our Verdict is FALSE and CONSIDERABLY DEATH HOAX because any of them are still alive for now. And any claims like these affected persons that they will die by that date are FALSE and it is a clear example of DEATH HOAX, and it is prohibited by the Philippine law.
4. Recently, an anonymous person posted a Facebook Photo that the upcoming UAAP Season 86, which shall be airing also on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z. Our Verdict is FALSE because there is no such news that UAAP will also be broadcast on ABS-CBN Channels. To date, UAAP Season 86 can be seen LIVE on One Sports, UAAP Varsity Channel and on Pilipinas Live. Any claims that UAAP Season 86 or any future UAAP Seasons will broadcast on ABS-CBN Channels are FALSE and MISLEADING.

Beginning September 30, 2023 (Saturday) at five in the morning (Philippine Standard Time UTC+8), any of our new TV and Digital Ad Archive videos on DRPS One’s YouTube and Facebook Pages will be published also on our recently-created, yet newly created Instagram Account, with handle, @drpsonephl.
