Weeks after the launch of Kapamilya Channel on ALLTV2, where several Kapamilya shows you’ve previously seen when they aired on TV5 became available on ALLTV2, ABS-CBN News’ long-running investigative program “SOCO: Scene of the Crime Operatives,” hosted by veteran journalist Gus Abelgas, made its highly anticipated return to free television on Kapamilya Channel via ALLTV2 last Saturday (January 17).
Last October 24, 2025, the refreshed version of the investigative program premiered online via iWant (with subscription), which featured a new set of reporters, Zyann Ambrosio, Dennis Datu, Jeff Caparas, Lyza Aquino, and Jessie Cruzat, who will share their firsthand insights and experiences from the cases they all have personally covered. The first episode investigates the Ebeng Mayor murder case (“TikTok”).
It also presented some of the investigative cases of a 2004 Valenzuela City Bank Heist (“Engkwentro”), the killing of a 25-year-old Liezel Navia (“Boso”), the murder of Emy Marin and Analyn Cortuna (“Ahas sa Pamilya”), the Nini case (“Delusyon”), the story of Jenny Rose and Boyet Panzo (“Obsesyon”), the Aegis Juris Fraternity case (“Kapatiran”), the 2023 Vinculado Murder Case (“Boarder”), the San Leonardo Massacre in Nueva Ecija (“Taga”), and the murder case of Karie Ces Mojica (“Aika”).
All of the episodes of SOCO: Limited Crime Docu-drama are available for streaming via iWant and on the ABS-CBN News YouTube Channel, and are being broadcast on Saturdays at 16:30, via Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, and A2Z, and streaming live via Kapamilya Online Live (available in Asia, Oceania, and Europe). Stream all the feels only on iWant. Download the app and subscribe (for as low as PHP 35.00 a month for the ad-supported Basic plan, or USD 4.99 per month elsewhere) via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Additionally, as of January 19, 2026, some of the ABS-CBN shows, like the current Kapamilya series What Lies Beneath, current Pinoy Big Brother edition Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, and the 2023 Kapamilya afternoon series Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, are now broadcast on three different channels’ respective primetime blocks – Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, and A2Z (WLB), GMA (PBB Collab 2.0), and TV5 (PPP), which all of these shows are airing on weeknights at 21:30.
This occurred following the programming schedule changes for TV5’s TodoMAX Primetime Singko Block, where the Cinecinco Primetime movie block was replaced with two Kapamilya afternoon series that premiered on July 25, 2023: Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin (20:45) and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso (21:30). The other shows broadcast on this block before and after these shows are not affected by this change.
