After their 12th Weekly Task win with four mistakes – three from the sayaw sa bangko performance and one from the binasuan performance, a maximum of ten mistakes to win, otherwise failed, the meet-up with PBB Collab 1.0 ex-housemate Klarisse de Guzman, and the eviction of Fred Moser and John Clifford inside the house, it is time to have the twelve remaining housemates join in for the grouping task, comprising two groups with six housemates each.
The 6th Group Formation Task (January 19, 2026)
For their sixth group formation task, as seen from an episode aired yesterday (January 19, 2026), housemates took turns throwing an object to the top of a house that is sitting on a pole. If a housemate missed, they had to wait for their turn. If not, they chose which group they would want to be part of. Each group consisted of the same number of housemates, regardless of their agency, per gender.
At the end of their Group Formation task, all of the housemates had decided which of the groups to take part in, and the following two groups were announced with their respective group names:
Team Striving Feathers
- Ashley Sarmiento (leader)
- Krystal Mejes
- Lella Ford
- Marco Masa
- Miguel Vergara
- Princess Aliyah
Team Solid Six
- Joaquin Arce (leader)
- Caprice Cayetano
- Carmelle Collado
- Eliza Borromeo
- Heath Jornales
- Sofia Pablo
The Three Ligtask Challenges for the 6th Nomination Night
Later, after this, Big Brother announced that there would be three Ligtask Challenges within the week, where one group with the most points achieved would win, resulting in them being safe from nomination; the other group would be automatically nominated for the 6th Eviction Night voting, which would take effect on January 25, 2026.
With that said, the two teams will face off in a head-to-head Ligtask challenge. For the mechanics of the first part of the three Ligtask challenge for 6th Nomination Night, the housemate needs to transfer the ball from the first plate to the second plate in the correct sequential order until reaching the sixth plate by blowing without the ball falling. If the ball happens to fall, they must start over from the first plate. The housemate who succeeds in this will give one point to their team. The winner of each face-off will be the one to say which of the two groups will send a member first for the game. For the first face-off, this will go through ‘bato-bato pick’ (rock-paper-scissors or similar pick) to determine which group sends their member first.
For the first round of this Ligtask challenge, the Solid Six team scored 4 points, which is double that of the opposing team, the Striving Feathers team, with 2 points. Following these numbers related to the first part of their 6th Nomination Night Ligtask challenge, Big Brother then announced that each group will choose who among the slowest to perform, and later they decided that Sofia Pablo and Krystal Mejes are among the members of each group, resulting in them competing with them for the 2-point round. However, at the end of this round, Sofia wins against Krystal, so Solid Six will now have 6 points, while Striving Feathers remains 2 points.
Stay tuned for the other two of the three Ligtask Challenges to determine which of the two groups will be safe or be nominated in the 6th Nomination Night of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
