This has came as a result of the launch of the True Network, as announced by Nation Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), in which they have introduced a new strategy to launch True TV on Cignal TV, through Channel 19, as well as the move of True FM’s frequency to 105.9 MHz, in Mega Manila.
Aside from 105.9 MHz in Mega Manila (replacing Neo Retro), several Radio Programs on True FM can also be heard on 106.7 MHz in Davao, 101.9 MHz in Cebu, 101.5 MHz in Cagayan de Oro, 99.9 MHz in Ormoc, Leyte, and 104.7 MHz in Tacloban, Leyte.
Furthermore, the airing of 92.3 MHz from November 4, 2024, will be Favorite Music Radio (FMR) in Mega Manila, as a result of the leasing of it’s airtime by the Philippine Collective Media Corporation (PCMC), and to license their content through an agreement.
Going forward, the radio assets of NBC will be acquired by PCMC, excluding Cebu and Cagayan de Oro stations.
