It’s been five years since the events of May 5, 2020 that involves not only the Covid-19 Pandemic and the other happenings in the Philippines, but also the highly acclaimed TV and Radio Network in the country, ABS-CBN, put their Channel 2, DZMM 630 KHz, and MOR 101.9 MHz, along with the other stations throughout the network, was put into a halt when the National Telecommunications Commission has issued a Case and Desist Order against the network, and as a cause of their legislative franchise of being expired.

Today, ABS-CBN was now heavily popularized even without the broadcast franchise – as it is known as the broadcast content provider of their highly acclaimed shows of today, especially the highest rating primetime series of today, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, that premiered on February 13, 2023.

The network, after the shutdown, was also widely known for having a biggest number of peak concurrent views since the launch of Kapamilya Online Live, through Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11’s The Final Stage at the Big Night, that happened last October 26, 2024. That edition’s Big Night Broadcast, on ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube and Facebook, was viewed by over 2.26 million Kapamilyas online.

Right now, the Kapamilya Shows can be seen not only on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ABS-CBN News Channel, Teleradyo Serbisyo (and heard on the radio through Radyo 630), Metro Channel, Jeepney TV, Cinemo, Myx, and Knowledge Channel, but also on various affiliates that aired their shows – through A2Z, TV5, GMA, ALLTV, and BEAM TV, just to name a few. But the only thing is, the network is truly “In The Service of the Filipino”, not just Nationwide and Worldwide, but also in the online world.
