Picture

Please beware of this scam advertisements on Facebook involving a smartphone that can be sold at a very low price (about P100 or more) on a fake Abenson Store. ALL OF THESE ADS ARE SCAMS. DON’T BE FOOLED if you have seen one of those lately on Facebook and Instagram.

One example is a Facebook ad from “Abenson Philippines”, in which it impersonated the said appliance store chain’s name, claiming that the iPhone 16 Pro Max can be yours for a price of P168 when you click the button provided in the ad.

Another example upon our discovery in Facebook and Instagram news feed, including the Promoted “More Suggestions” page (on Instagram) that a Samsung phone can be yours at P110 when you answer a survey, while a Xiaomi Phone can also be purchased at P117.29. ALL OF THESE ADS ARE SCAMS, and uses the Abenson’s logo on their ad materials they’ve used in the ads in an illegal way.

We’ve also checked the Facebook Ad Library Pages involving these scams. Upon searching the phrase “Abenson”, the similar scams we’ve seen like this are have been advertised as well, and you should report them to Facebook for promoting these scams like these.

If you have seen these ads, please DO NOT CLICK ANY OF THE CTA BUTTONS. Please report to Facebook as a scam. If you want to buy a brand-new phone on Abenson in a legal way, consider visiting in-store, or go online at Abenson.com.
