Entertainment: Coco Martin’s Sigabo premiered with 404,124 peak concurrent viewers on June 22, 2026

Grateful kasi nandito lahat. Nagsama-sama, nagtulong-tulong. – Coco Martin, in a special premiere screening for Sigabo

Ito na ‘yung produkto na mapapanood ng mga tao at para siyang pelikula. Lagi naman sinasabi ng ABS-CBN na ‘in the service of the Filipino.’ Ang pinakaimportante ay nagsama-sama ang lahat. – Julia Montes, Sigabo cast member

On June 22, 2026, the highly anticipated premiere and much awaited comeback of Coco Martin and Julia Montes, in his own Sigabo, which aired its pilot episode on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV2, A2Z, TV5, and iWant, made a mark in online viewership, as it registered a strong 404,124 peak concurrent viewers on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel, during the series is streaming live – a higher number compared to its predecessor, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which achieved 341,509 during the same premiere airing on February 13, 2023.

The series also registered higher TV ratings, according to data from Fifty5 Blue (formerly Kantar Media) and Nielsen Philippines, where the series got respective 13.8% and 8.2% ratings. The DRPS PHCA TV Ad Listings also showed that Sigabo had aired 59 TV Ads on Kapamilya Channel, 46 TV Ads on A2Z, and 49 TV Ads on ALLTV2 and TV5, compared to The Master Cutter, which had 48 TV Ads on GMA (same timeslot basis).

As of June 23, 2026, the second episode of Coco Martin’s Sigabo registered an all-time high peak concurrent viewership record of 415,061 on the same YouTube channel (ABS-CBN Entertainment, one of the most-subscribed YouTube channels in Southeast Asia).

Coco Martin, who played the lead role of Gabo Magtibay, made a mark in his grand TV comeback in an action-filled and feel-good premiere that aired on several TV networks (ABS-CBN-Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, A2Z, and TV5) and online streaming platforms (Kapamilya Online Live and iWant), which sparked widespread buzz among viewers.

The other casts of Sigabo also lauded the cinematic quality of the action sequences and highlighted how he continues to elevate his productions as a lead actor, director, and producer, which delivered world-class storytelling and visuals that are at par with international series. Among the highlights of the episode, as an example, was an unexpected kiss between their characters, Gabo (Coco, an ex-convict turned secret agent) and Sam (Julia, an investigative agent), who clashed following a high-speed car chase.

Yeng Constantino, the singer behind the official theme song for the series, also delivered a live performance of it, while some cast members were also able to show their love to online viewers during a special online gap show via Kapamilya Online Live to further tackle the series. Also attending the Kapamilya special screening for Sigabo were the other cast members, employees, and executives from various television networks.

Coco Martin and Julia Montes, alongside the other stars of Sigabo, will also hold another nationwide motorcade stop in Pampanga on June 28, 2026, to highlight their enduring connection to the Filipinos, Kapampangans, and Kapamilyas all over Pampanga.

Coco Martin’s Sigabo airs on weekdays at 20:00 via Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, ALLTV2, A2Z, TV5, and iWant, as well as on The Filipino Channel (TFC) for Kapamilyas abroad.
