Entertainment: DongYan-top-billed Remember finds a special connection in Quebec; Marian on GGV

Remember stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, known by the public as “DongYan” and seen in several Kapuso primetime dramas and Kapamilya films, including their highly successful 49th Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Rewind, finds a special connection in Quebec, Canada, where the highly anticipated film was shot for the first time, bringing a story of love, hope, and second chances.

Scheduled to be released in Philippine cinemas nationwide on November 11, 2026, the film, under the direction of Mae Cruz-Alviar, who also helmed the said 49th MMFF entry, follows an estranged couple who must come together when her daughter (Zia Grace Bataan) is diagnosed with a rare genetic illness. As they face their daughter’s condition, they must confront their past and reconsider the love they once shared.

Kakaiba talaga yung portrayal ni Marian dito. Kahit araw-araw ko na siyang nakikita, pero noong nag-roll na yung camera ni Direk Mae, talagang ibang tao yung nakita ko. Yung performance kasi ni Marian gave me more reason to step up as Joseph, Dingdong Dantes shared during the film’s media conference.

Hindi ako natakot na magbigay ng iba’t ibang klaseng emosyon na nasasakyan niya at ino-open niya, niyayakap niya, kaya naging madali sa akin na hubugin yung character ni Ria, Marian shared on what she credited his openness as an actor for helping her exploring her character’s, Ria, emotions.

Film director Cruz-Alviar also praised Dingdong and Marian as passionate film actors who are dedicated to their craft. Apart from them and Zia, the film, under a collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios-Star Cinema and AgostoDos Pictures, APT Entertainment, and Regal Entertainment, also stars Joross Gamboa, Kyle Echarri, and Ana Abad Santos.

Apart from the local release of the film on November 11, 2026, it is also scheduled to be released in the Arab World (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain) and Oceania (Australia and New Zealand) on the following day (November 12, 2026), followed by its release in the Americas (United States and Canada, including Guam) on November 13, 2026, and in Southeast Asia (Singapore and Malaysia) on an undisclosed date.

Meanwhile, on October 25, 2026, the hilariously much-awaited guesting debut of Marian Rivera on Gandang Gabi Vice, presented by Vice Ganda, featured their comedic antics of a night filled with laughter, dancing, and heartwarming chat between the Kapuso Primetime Queen and Remember co-lead star, and the Phenomenal Unkabogable Superstar.

For the first time on Gandang Gabi Vice, Marian sits down with Vice as she shares her humble beginnings before she began in the showbiz industry, bares quirky facts about herself, addresses some of the burning questions from her fans, and even shares her experience during the filming of the upcoming family drama film, together with the Geng Gang.

The full episode of Marian’s guesting on Gandang Gabi Vice is accessible for free on the iWant app, with a runtime of almost 45 minutes; subscribers may enjoy an Unfiltered version with a runtime of an hour and 14 minutes, available through its subscription plans priced at PHP 35 per month in the Philippines for the Basic plan, USD 12.99 per month in the United States, and USD 4.99 elsewhere.
