Following the success of the highest-grossing Philippine film upon opening day in 2026 alone, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano-led Tayo Sa Wakas, one of the latest offerings of Star Cinema ahead of its 33rd anniversary, is set to release outside the Philippines in key areas of Oceania, the Americas, China SAR, Asia, and the Arab World.
The latest romance drama film, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, opened strong locally, earning more than PHP 70 million (USD 1,141,403.60) in its first week alone, making it the biggest opening local film of 2026.
To date, the film is showing in Philippine cinemas nationwide. It will also open its screenings across the world, including in Oceania (Australia and New Zealand) on June 11, 2026, followed by the Americas (United States, Canada, and Guam) on the following day, June 12, 2026, China SAR (Hong Kong and Macau) on June 21, 2026, Malaysia and the Middle East within this month, and in Taiwan on July 10, 2026.
The film follows Cisco (Donny) and Cheska (Belle), a couple whose relationship is strained by the demands of their dreams and ambitions. As they drift apart, the two embark on a breakup trip to determine whether to walk away for good or fight for the love they once shared.
Tayo Sa Wakas is currently showing locally in cinemas nationwide in its third week and internationally starting on June 11, 2026.

Meanwhile, Star Cinema also announced another upcoming film scheduled for a worldwide release within the year, this time, under a joint production with APT Entertainment, AgostoDos Pictures, and Regal Entertainment.
The title would be called “Remember”, and it is headlined by the royal box-office couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, known for their highest-grossing 49th Metro Manila Film Festival entry film with over PHP 924 million in gross (currently the second among all Filipino films in history, and the highest-grossing MMFF entry film of all time), Rewind, back in 2023.
The film is directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, who helmed the blockbuster hit. The lead stars headed to Quebec, Canada, to begin filming. Further updates regarding their upcoming film and the cast roster will be announced soon.
