Entertainment: BGYO Gelo and Alexa Ilacad topbill “The Chambermaid’s Daughter” on iWant

For the first time in ABS-CBN Studios, iWant will deliver a new microdrama which features a kilig chemistry of Gelo Rivera of BGYO and Alexa Ilacad, in “The Chambermaid’s Daughter”, scheduled to release all 30 episodes on April 30, 2026, with the first five episodes available for streaming, free of charge, not only on iWant, but also on ABS-CBN Facebook page, and iWant YouTube channel.

The series introduces the on-screen pairing of Alexa and Gelo, whose kilig chemistry leads the story’s central romance, marking their first project together as a new tandem. The microdrama follows hotel room attendant Hannah Montano (Alexa Ilacad), who is often overlooked at work despite her dedication, until she is chosen by Korean executive Daniel Jeo (Gelo Rivera) to be his private Tagalog translator.

What begins as a simple side job soon leads to a life-changing turn, pulling Hannah (Alexa) into a world far beyond what she has known. Hannah (Alexa) develops a growing connection with Daniel (Gelo) as she adjusts to her new environment, navigating both their personal histories and the expectations tied to their roles as a housekeeper and a business executive.

Subscribers of iWant, whether in the Basic or Premium tier, which are priced at PHP 35 and PHP 119 per month, respectively, may enjoy the remaining 25 out of the 30 episodes in this latest microdrama offering, to see how one unexpected romance changes everything. Kapamilyas abroad may also subscribe to iWant for as low as USD 12.99 in the United States, CAD 9.99 in Canada, and USD 4.99 a month (or equivalent currency).

Subscribers can also watch all other microdramas on the streaming platform, including the most recent A Mother’s Vengeance, Runaway Love, Shadow CEO, The Heiress Deception, I Am Your Daughter, When Brothers Fall, The Billionaire Swap, and more vertical dramas that iWant would bring in the future.

Theodore Boborol, the man behind the most recent iWant original series, Ghosting, headlined by Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemate JM Ibarra and Big Winner Fyang Smith, directed this latest microdrama offering.

Apart from “The Chambermaid’s Daughter”, Alexa Ilacad, known as a host of Pinoy Big Brother since Gen 11, a housemate of the said reality show from Kumunity Season 10: Celebrity Edition, and a contestant in Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 4, which earned a combined score of 93.5% in the Final Showdown held on April 12, 2026, will also appear in an upcoming iWant original series, titled Miss Behave, directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal. She, along with Xyriel Manabat, Reign Parani, Andi Abaya, and Rans Rifol, topbill the upcoming original series.
