As per PR Statement issued on November 24, 2023, the channel will transition into a fully digital platform rather from the on-air platforms, which was broadcast on BEAM TV‘s Digital TV Stations, as well as on selected cable TV providers.
PIE Channel is a co-partnership with ABS-CBN and 917Ventures which was introduced to our Filipino viewers on May 23, 2022.
One of the most notable TV Shows was The Chosen One, which was premiered it’s first episode of the season on September 24, 2022 (a week prior to this, the show aired it’s initial telecast), and which was known as “Ang Piliserye ng Bayan”.
For The Chosen One’s Soap Opera, the casts are mostly from Pinoy Big Brother Connect Season 9 and Kumunity Season 10 Adult and Teen Editions), namely Zach Guerrero, Seham Daghlas, Kobie Brown, Andi Abaya, Rob Blackburn, Maxine Trinidad, Gabb Birkin, Luke Alford, Dustine Mayores and Amanda Zamora. On their finale episode, Rob, Maxine and Seham are the last three players in the series, thus Seham wins the season, leaving the other two are the eliminated players.
There are some things to know about PIE Channel, in which they are promoting their “Pindot PIEnalo” promo, wherein televiewers can get points just by informing who someone they know to sign up with PIE Channel through the provided link from the referrer, by watching their interactvity shows and make an interaction in the join page, or if they are just new on PIE Channel, they can sign up for an account. By doing at least one of the required steps, they could win cash prizes.
To date, while just a few days before the end of PIE Channel as an on-air channel, has aired it’s own live programs, such as Mukhang Perya, Watchawin, Ur Da Boss, Tamang Hinala and Sinong Manok Mo?, which these programs are aired beginning at 17h00. They also air some of the past shows during it’s shining glory as well, prior and after these shows.
