The country’s telecoms regulatory entity, National Telecommunications Commission, has suspended the operations of Swara Sug Media Corporation, who owns it’s business under the name, Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) after it’s show cause order has been issued against it.
This order will last for thirty (30 days) as a result for violating the terms and conditions of its franchise under the Republic Act no. 11422.
In addition, two of their shows of the network, namely Gikan Sa Masa, Para Sa Masa and Laban Kasama Ang Bayan are suspended by MTRCB for 14 days within the effect of December 18, 2023 to avoid any further violations or protect the interest and public welfare.
