PBB Gen 11: Kanata-starred Coach Me Maybe gains positive support; Kolette stars in Dead Girl Walking

The support and positive comments for the upcoming iWant microdrama series Coach Me Maybe, headlined by Rave Victoria and Lance Jeremy and featuring Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemate and Lola-Ving Apo-Actress Kanata Tapia, have gained further traction among its fans, supporters, and even in the Boy’s Love Community, as its lead stars will take their next step in the first-ever BL microdrama coming to the streaming platform in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Under the direction of Theodore Boborol, the man behind some of the PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates-starring series and shows Ghosting and Will You Fake Marry Me Season 2, both of which were headlined by JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, as well as The Chambermaid’s Daughter (Gelo Rivera and Alexa Ilacad), and Sparks Camp Season 4, the upcoming vertical drama explores a queer love blossoming from a fierce rivalry between cocky judo champion Alpha (Lance), who ropes in a nerdy student named Romeo (Rave) into a fake romance.

Kanata Tapia, who will appear in the first-ever BL microdrama offering on iWant, will play the role of Charlie, marking her first-ever role in a microdrama series since her acting debut as Chiyaki in Tropang G.O.A.T. and her Kontrabida role as Janice in Love Is Never Gone, after Dylan Yturralde in Shadow CEO, Jas Dudley-Scales in When Brothers Fall, JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith in Will You Fake Marry Me, and Therese Villamor in Half Sisters, all of which are released on the Kapamilya-backed video streaming platform.

The announcement, which was published on their official social media accounts on October 8, 2026, sparked positive comments and reactions about the pairing of Rave and Lance in the microdrama series, and viewers may expect what the two will do as they are ready for a discovery that changes how they see themselves and each other.

Aside from Rave, Lance, and Kanata, Coach Me Maybe also stars Christian Vazquez, Valerie Concepcion, Rhianna Santiago, Iñigo Jose, Josh Worsley, and Ian Lubrica, who is one of the campers from Sparks Camp Season 4.

Meanwhile, another Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemate will also join the list of their upcoming projects in terms of microdrama series for mobile viewers, as the 3rd Big Placer and Ma-cute-lit na Raketerang Singer and Actress Kolette Madelo, together with River Joseph, will star in another microdrama offering from the same video streaming platform.

Titled Dead Girl Walking, the microdrama will deliver the deadliest nightmares that are born from revenge. Emerald Silvestre helmed the microdrama, the same director behind his previous microdrama, A Cake To Remember, headlined by Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, which drew over 7.5 million online video views in its first five episodes available for streaming on the official social media accounts of iWant and ABS-CBN.

Apart from Kolette and River, the series, helmed by the network’s drama production unit JRB Creative Production, also stars Reich Alim, Allyson McBride, Nikki Valdez, and Desiree del Valle.

Kolette and River previously appeared in a Kapamilya primetime series, Blood vs. Duty. As for Kolette, she also appeared in other ABS-CBN series, including her debut drama, Sins of the Father, followed by What Lies Beneath, which, with her GL pairing with Mutya Orquia for MuLette, sparked trends across the internet during the primetime drama’s run.

Kolette also appeared in an episode of the BGYO-led microdrama series, Vertical On Demand, together with P-Pop group members Mikki Claver and Nate Porcalla. She also released her debut album under StarPop, titled SAYAW, in 2025.

The microdrama series Coach Me Maybe and Dead Girl Walking will soon be released on iWant within the fourth quarter of 2026.
