ABS-CBN Studios and Teatro Kapamilya will open their month-long theatrical musical, The Art of Breaking Up, at the PETA Theater in Quezon City on November 6, 2026, with tickets for each showing still available via Ticketworld and their accredited ticketing partners, some of which were sold out earlier.
The musical play is based on the late George de Jesus III’s play Kung Paano Maghiwalay; the premise of the musical play traces the tender, messy, and at times funny unraveling of love. Through fleeting moments and intertwined lives, it follows couples as they fall apart, cling on, and slowly learn to let go, revealing the complexity of human connection in all its warmth, confusion, and heartbreak.

For the opening day of the theatrical play, scheduled for 20:00, among the cast were Kolette Madelo and Jarren Garcia as featured vocalists, and Dingdong Bahan as Ferdz – all of whom are from Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 – as well as Carlitos Siguion-Reyna as Ben, Bibeth Orteza as Anita, Nikki Valdez as Lou, Jake Cuenca as Dino, Yen Santos as Gab, AJ Sison as Jake, Anna Luna as Kat, Jel Tarun as Hector, Analain Salvador as Ina, Jude Hinumdum as Erwin, Yesh Burce as Carla, and Meann Espinosa as Everman.
Teatro Kapamilya also announced the availability of tickets and its casting schedule for the theatrical play during the month-long period, scheduled for 15:00 and 20:00 each day, which can be accessed on its official social media accounts.
Apart from the premiere show roster for the musical play, the cast included Teroy Guzman, Roselyn Perez, Brent Manalo, Janella Salvador, Jameson Blake, and additional featured vocalists Benedix Ramos and Sheena Belarmino.
The theatrical play The Art of Breaking Up will run at the PETA Theater until December 6, 2026.
