Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 Big Winner Caprice Cayetano and 2nd Big Placer Heath Jornales, known by the public as CapEath, bring their on-screen chemistry to the next level as they headline their first-ever Kapuso series project, through You’re My Favorite Song, together with fellow housemates and Sparkle artists Marco Masa and John Clifford, scheduled to premiere on June 22, 2026, on GMA.
Produced by GMA Public Affairs – the current affairs arm of GMA Network – the latest Afternoon Prime offering directed by the acclaimed filmmaker JP Habac (the man behind the popular film “I’m Drunk, I Love You”), based on an original concept by Mark Ivan Caro, and written by Erwin Caezar Bravo (who were behind the hit primetime series Black Rider and My Ilonggo Girl), is a heartfelt journey filled with love, music, and aspiration.
Viewers can look forward to their portrayals of each respective roles, that interweaves themes of family, friendship, love, and the persuite of one’s dreams. The premise is a journey of Angel Dimaculangan (Caprice), a 16 year old genius who moves to Solmera City with a goal in mind – to help her beloved grandfather, Lolo Xavi – fulfill his lifelong dream of building a resort on their beachfront property.
What it begins as a hopeful new chapter has ended up into an uphill battle, when the powerful Montaverde empire sets its sights on their land, resulting to what would be a possible threathening happenings that Angel and Lolo Xavi have worked for. Despite an unlikely group of Generation Z and Generation Alpha allies, Angel, equipped with a brilliant mind, may hold her ground against greedy forces determined to shutter their future.
The series also promises that an engaging blend of family drama, youthful romance, friendship, and high-stakes conflict as Angel is going to protect their dream and to navigate its challenges of adolescence.
Marco Masa and John Clifford, the Kapuso ex-housemates of PBB Collab 2.0 who were working together for You’re My Favorite Song, expressed their gratitude in appearing in the upcoming Afternoon Prime series.
Marco shared that he is excited because after he was evicted from the Big Brother House, it is his first-ever series that the taping is continuously going on with Clifford, his fellow ex-housemate.
Clifford then expressed that You’re My Favorite Song would be his first project post-PBB Collab 2.0. This is a dream come true dahil dati pinag-uusapan lang namin ito sa Bahay ni Kuya, now, natupad na po talaga, he added.
Alongside Caprice, Heath, Marco, and Clifford, the series will bring the energy and depth into the vibrant world of Brighton Bay Academy and Solmera City with three additional Kapuso ex-housemates from the same PBB season as theirs – Waynona Collings, Princess Aliyah, and Lee Victor, together with Kairo Lazarte, Andrei Fajardo, Geo Mhanna, Boboy Garrovillo, Katya Santos, James Blanco, Kazel Kinouchi, and Wilma Doesnt.
You’re My Favorite Song is scheduled to premiere on June 22, 2026, airing from Monday to Friday at 16:00, after Kamao (headlined by Anton Vinzon of PBB Collab 2.0), on GMA Afternoon Prime (replacing Apoy Sa Dugo).
