Please beware of a fake news post from “Zachary” on Facebook, claiming GMA’s Startalk and ABS-CBN’s The Buzz will return by next year. In the said post, they claimed that Boy Abunda, Bea Alonzo, Heart Evangelista, and Tim Yap will be the new hosts of the return of Startalk, and it will premiere this 2025, replacing Maka on Saturday afternoons program line-up on GMA.
THIS IS FALSE. There are no such news from GMA Network that Startalk will return this 2025, with a new set of hosts involved in here. Additionally, ABS-CBN did not include The Buzz on the network’s 2025 offerings as stated during the Shine Kapamilya Christmas Special that aired last December 15, 2024 (from where that the offerings part was shown on TV). In addition, Maka will have a Season 2 this coming January 25, 2025, as stated from the recently aired Bonus Episode of the first season of Maka last December 14, 2024.
Thus, the return of Startalk and The Buzz this coming 2025, is FALSE and MISLEADING.
