Featured Article: How violent is PBB Collab 2.0 within the 6th week?

Editors’ Note: This is an updated and expanded article related to the blog post on DRPSPHCA.com called “A 3rd set of teams has formed, but was later punished due to violations“.

It’s been six weeks since the premiere of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0. Over the past few days of that week, we’ve seen that the housemates have violated most of the rules in the PBB Rule Book that they must follow inside the house, and what is not allowed inside. But even though this is not the first time they’ve violated any part of Big Brother’s rules, the cleanliness throughout the house was not adequately pleasant for the inspectors, especially the bedrooms, dining, kitchen areas, and the living room.

And as of December 4, 2025, the airing of the reality show’s episode from that date had racked up a total of 142 violations, which is 21 more than Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11’s 121. It initially had a violation count of 117 (from an episode aired on December 2, 2025), with 110 of which were done before the punishment task was initiated, while Big Brother added seven more for not entering their “jail cells” on time. These violations are announced a day after the formation of new teams, following the 2nd Eviction Night happenings that led to the elimination of Marco Masa and Eliza Borromeo.

In the first phase of formation, a Group Leadership Task was conducted for the third time before the punishment task, this time with their sticks placed on the backs of their hands, palms facing down, then by flipping the sticks and catching them with their palms facing down, and must be done for three minutes across all five stations.

In the end, four of the sixteen remaining housemates (in bold) are named the group leaders for the third Collab of Teams, based on their higher score and the time completed if their score is the same as others (as tallied on-air, and described below in the following list).

  1. Princess Aliyah – 74 points in 42 secs.
  2. Fred Moser – 72 points in 42 secs.
  3. Rave Victoria – 69 points in 48 secs.
  4. Anton Vinzon – 69 points in 1 min. 4 secs.
  5. Lella Ford – 68 points in 36 secs.
  6. Inigo Jose – 68 points in 1 min. 5 secs.
  7. Miguel Vergara – 68 points in 1 min. 35 secs.
  8. Carmelle Collado – 67 points in 47 secs.
  9. John Clifford – 67 points in 56 secs.
  10. Heath Jornales – 66 points in 54 secs.
  11. Ashley Sarmiento – 57 points in 2 mins. 31 secs.
  12. Krystal Mejes – 52 points in 1 min. 48 secs.
  13. Joaquin Arce – 49 points in 1 min. 11 secs.
  14. Caprice Cayetano – 30 points in 1 min. 1 sec.
  15. Sofia Pablo – 29 points in 1 min. 7 secs.
  16. Lee Victor – 12 points in 1 min. 34 secs.

In the part where the four teams’ leaders, Princess, Fred, Rave, and Anton, formed their teams of each group, they’ll have to choose only three members, but based on the exact mechanics of two Kapuso and two Kapamilya housemates each. At the end of their formations, the following teams have formed for their 6th Weekly Task and their upcoming 3rd Ligtask Challenge happening this December 7, 2025:

  • Big Back Dreamers. Headed by Princess Aliyah. Featuring Caprice Cayetano, Krystal Mejes, and Joaquin Arce.
  • Interlinked Minds. Headed by Fred Moser. Featuring Inigo Jose, Lee Victor, and Heath Jornales.
  • Palabangels. Headed by Rave Victoria. Featuring Lella Ford, Sofia Pablo, and John Clifford.
  • Astig Divas. Headed by Anton Vinzon. Featuring Ashley Sarmiento, Carmelle Collado, and Miguel Vergara.

To give viewers confidence in the show’s fairness, explain how violations are monitored, such as through cameras or housemate reports, and how enforcement is consistently applied across all housemates, as outlined in the Rule Book.

  • Talking Without Lapel: 11 Housemates (in this microphone-related rule, talking without wearing their lapel or misusing it is considered a violation.)
  • Sleeping at the wrong time: 10 Housemates (in this rule, related to other essential tasks, sleeping above the provided time and without permission from Big Brother is prohibited, especially every time after the wake-up call.)
  • Use of codenames: 6 Housemates (under this rule, related to cameras, any housemate or the housemates may get disqualified by Big Brother, or upon the use of codenames. The said issue was televised on-air a day before, when this and all other violations were aired.)
  • Food inside bedrooms: 11. Housemates (under this rule, related to sleeping, they are not allowed to bring any food into their bedrooms or eat in their beds. But after waking up, they are also prohibited from staying inside if this is not the right time to sleep, rather than if permitted by Big Brother.)
  • Whispering: 2 Housemates (under this rule, related to cameras, any housemate or the housemates may be disqualified by Big Brother if they whisper to each other.)
  • Confidentiality Violation: 5 Housemates (under this rule, related to confidentiality and privacy, the process of audition and screening that ABS-CBN, GMA, and Banijay made for each housemate is strictly confidential, and cannot be told inside the house in any way.)
  • Swearing: 3 Housemates (under this rule, related to other policies, it is illegal to swear and tell that is intended to insult or for joking.)
  • Talking about the outside world: 4 Housemates (under this rule, related to housemates’ arrival, they are not allowed to ask questions about future housemates about the outside world, and it is prohibited to tell a story that a new housemate will soon arrive inside the house.)
  • Talking non-verbally or no voice: 5 Housemates (under this rule, related to cameras, any housemate or the housemates may be disqualified by Big Brother if they are talking non-verbally or without voice off-camera.)
  • Property damage: 3. Housemates (under this rule, related to other policies, any housemate or the housemates may be punished or disqualified if they damage any property owned by Big Brother.)
  • Moving of Furniture: 2 Housemates (under this rule, related to furniture, housemates are not allowed to move the house’s furniture at any time.)
  • Covering of Microphones: 1 Housemate (under this rule, related to cameras, any housemate or the housemates may be disqualified by Big Brother if they cover any microphones and/or cameras installed inside.)
  • Writing of secret messages: 1 Housemate (under this rule, related to cameras, any housemate or the housemates may be disqualified by Big Brother if they wrote any form of secret or private message.)

Big Brother then instructed the housemates that the hosts called them “violators” on-air, to go to sleep on the night of the recent happenings. But when they got up from their beds, the housemates noticed that they had violated some of its rules, including not wearing their lapel pins and whispering. These violations are done by Rave Victoria, Fred Moser, Inigo Jose, Miguel Vergara, Heath Jornales, John Clifford, and Lee Victor, which caused the violation count to increase by 9, for a total of 126.

The count increased once again by 16 for a total of 142 on the following episode after citing that Big Brother’s house was still not clean, with what the Plasma TV displayed regarding this is a violation against following his house rules, which is also part of the PBB Rule Book. In fact, the rule stated on the screen says that it is important to learn about cleanliness inside the house, and the housemates are responsible for keeping the house clean.

The overall number of violations of 142 is a combined total from all of the teams’ violations:

  • Interlinked Minds: 44 (Inigo Jose: 16; Lee Victor: 10; Fred Moser: 9; Heath Jornales: 9)
  • Astig Divas: 27 (Carmelle Collado: 11; Ashley Sarmiento: 7; Miguel Vergara: 5; Anton Vinzon: 4)
  • Big Back Dreamers: 23 (Joaquin Arce: 10; Princess Aliyah: 8; Krystal Mejes: 3; Caprice Cayetano: 2)
  • Palabanghels: 48 (Lella Ford: 17; Rave Victoria: 16; John Clifford: 9; Sofia Pablo: 6)

The inspectors came across the house to ensure that it remains clean, as seen in the Friday episode of PBB Collab 2.0 aired yesterday (December 5, 2025), with what that the inspectors who’ve came in are the lead stars of the upcoming 51st Metro Manila Film Festival entry film, Love You So Bad, which are Will Ashley, Bianca de Vera, and Dustin Yu, who were the ex-housemates of the preceeding season of PBB Celebrity Collab Edition.

The lead stars of the film served as the houseguests apart from revealing the film’s poster and inspecting the house, and are in charge of doing their ongoing 6th Weekly Task called “Apat Na Selda” – where the housemates have to transfer the balls from point A to point B, with the balls placed on the deck are based on the number of violations. In order to win this weekly task, all balls must be transferred correctly to the right place.

Since this is not their first time violating the rules, their previous punishment is to carry a “Big Rule Book”, one book per violation. Joaquin Arce and Sofia Pablo were the most violent at the time, which is 5, with Carmelle Vollado receiving 4 violations, Inigo Jose and Krystal Mejes receiving 3 each, Lee Victor, Anton Vinzon, Marco Masa, and Fred Moser receiving 2 each, and Ashley Sarmiento, Eliza Borromeo, Lella Ford, and Rave Victoria receiving 1 each.

Totalling these numbers with the most recent violation would be 174 within the whole season’s airing – an all-time high number of violations among all other Pinoy Big Brother seasons in the past, surpassing PBB Gen 11’s total of 121 (as a form of 4th Nomination Night, from where that Fyang Smith, Rain Celmar, Kai Montinola, Kolette Madelo, Dylan Yturralde, and Dingdong Bahan-Patrick Ramirez duo are the nominees at that time for being the top 6 most violent), or PBB Connect’s total of 56.

Despite all of the violations that the housemates committed and their related challenges and penalties, sponsored tasks provided by Shopee Philippines, Greenwich Pizza, Nestea, AquaFlask, and Breeze Detergent are also seen within the week.

While the issues involving how violent the housemates are will continue, the 3rd Nomination Night of PBB Collab 2.0 would not have a Ligtask Challenge. Who among the four groups will be nominated this week? Find out about it this Sunday, December 7, 2025.

PBB Gen 11: ANAK TV awards some of the housemates, Patrick, in the Last Resort on iWant

Some of the ex-housemates of PBB Gen 11 who were previously nominated in the ANAK TV’s Net Makabata Star 2025 have won this prestigious award on the awarding day recently. JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith are widely known for their latest iWant offering in the second half of 2025, titled Ghosting, with their second part of the series, dubbed “Deja-BOO!”, which premiered last November 1, 2025, as part of the success of the first part of the series, and with the release of its spin-offs, like “Final Ghostination” and “Girly Pop Diaries” with more spine-tingling twists and heartfelt moments that the second part of the series has to offer for all subscribers of iWant’s Basic and Premium Plan. The said TV Series, airing and streaming on weeknights at 20:45 on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Jeepney TV (delayed), and Kapamilya Online Live, was among the top shows on Netflix Philippines and on iWant. But a few days before this, at the time when Rain Celmar celebrated her 19th Birthday last November 29, 2025, during the BINIfied Concert held at the Philippine Arena, the artist, along with the other two (2) PBB Gen 11 alums, Therese Villamor and Marc Nanninga, were among the trainees of Star Magic’s Star Hunt Academy 2025, in which the trainees will have a chance to be part of the next P-Pop Group, equivalent to BGYO and BINI. The other details about this will become available in the future on ABS-CBN, Star Magic, Star Hunt, and Star Hunt Academy’s social media pages.

Meanwhile, a film offering is about to drop this Monday, December 8, 2025, as Kaori Oinuma and Aljon Mendoza, known as the housemates of Pinoy Big Brother: Otso, and the love team pair of “KarJon”, are about to return for another on-screen pairing through “The Last Resort”.

Set in “La Mera Resort,” it explores suspicious and frequent deaths of married male guests with incidents repeatedly attributed to accidents by its management. Karina played Katrina, a housekeeper with hidden motives, while Aljon played Jacob, a visitor whose arrival coincides with suspicions about the resort’s events.

As for PBB Gen 11, ex-housemate Patrick Ramirez, known for his recent TV Series appearance in What Lies Beneath as Tomas Justo, will join the film’s roster of cast. Apart from them, this Christian Paolo Lat-directed film will feature Elyson De Dios, Rania Lindayag, Paulo Angeles, John Arcenas, Randy Villarama, Emma Viri, and Brian Scott Lomboy. PH TV Update: ABS-CBN-TV5 Content Partnership Developments

Since 2021, some of the well-beloved Kapamilya Shows of ABS-CBN Studios have been broadcast on TV5, including the current lineup of shows as of the moment – Primetime shows like FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, ROJA, and What Lies Beneath, Asianovela like Go Ahead, weekend shows like ASAP, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Rated Korina, and many other past shows since then, for example, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, 2 Good 2 Be True, The Iron Heart, Linlang, Pamilya Sagrado, Incognito, Saving Grace: The Untold Story, the first season of Rainbow Rumble, Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11, Idol Kids Philippines, and The Voice Kids (under ABS-CBN), along many others.

However, when ABS-CBN recently received a notice regarding the partnership between the network and TV5 Network, Inc., the owner and operator of the TV5 channel that aired these shows through a TV Content Supply Agreement, alongside A2Z (an ABS-CBN Blocktimer, owned and operated by Zoe Broadcasting Network, Inc.), the network announced that “it will part ways very soon”.

In its statement regarding the ABS-CBN-TV5 partnership, “while ABS-CBN is doing everything for this, they can resolve this within the short time they’ve been given, the network wants to be transparent with the public about what’s happening”.

However, contrary to all media reports, the claims regarding the partnership deal between ABS-CBN and TV5 will remain “disputed”, and their obligations to TV5 Network are in the works to address their payments for transmitting their shows on the said television network. ABS-CBN also denied the claims and accusations regarding “delayed payments” due to financial constraints stemming from circumstances beyond its control.

The ABS-CBN-TV5 partnership began on January 24, 2021, through an agreement to air their shows, firstly for their Sunday noontime show ASAP, followed by the following primetime shows on the Kapamilya network at the time when this happened on March 8, 2021: FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, Walang Hanggang Paalam, and Pinoy Big Brother: Connect (for the remainder of the season’s airtime).

The network also aired its weekday noontime show, It’s Showtime, on July 16, 2022, but it lasted until June 30, 2023, when it moved to GMA Network’s sister channel, GTV, on the following day, while TV5 did also broadcast the entire season of Pinoy Big Brother under the season of Gen 11 that ran between July 20, 2024 and October 26, 2024, with its spin-off called “Big 4 Ever” was aired on December 9, 2024 to January 24, 2025, following the edition’s success with a Nielsen NUTAM Report Rating of 10.7% (combined Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5), and an all-time high concurrent online viewership record of over 2.26 million on Kapamilya Online Live.

ABS-CBN will remain “In the service of the Filipino” even if their partnership with TV5 has ended, as they will strive to pursue this, no matter the odds, since the broadcast franchise halt on May 5, 2020. ABS-CBN may reach out if any case arises in which the partnership between the network and TV5 has been terminated. At the same time, it will overcome the difficulties caused by the said halt, will never abandon Kapamilyas, and will provide alternative options to serve its viewers.

However, while any further updates will be made as soon as developments warrant, recently, the TV5 Network issued an official statement regarding this case, stating that “their content agreement with ABS-CBN required them to remit on a timely basis, while TV5’s share of revenues they collect are from the advertisers.” The amounts collected from these shares are being held between the two networks and have reached “such material value as to severely affect the Kapatid network’s own ability to settle all of the obligations”.

The TV5 Network repeatedly appealed to ABS-CBN, but “it failed to pay what is due”. The value of partnering with TV5 and ABS-CBN is part of the broadcast industry, and to ease the financial constraints the Kapamilya network has faced since May 5, 2020, when the government halted all TV and radio broadcast operations by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) due to the franchise expiration, despite the COVID-19 pandemic that was happening at the time.

TV5 Network, however, also faced challenges that may lead to the end of the airing of ABS-CBN’s shows, such as FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, What Lies Beneath, ROJA, ASAP, Your Face Sounds Familiar, and many others. The company needs the funds owed to it to continue serving every Kapatid viewer in a Kapamilya way.

The network assures that it will continue to serve with some of the best programming, including noontime show Eat Bulaga, newscasts under the Frontline Pilipinas brand, musical show Vibe, and various TV and online series provided by Viva Communications (i.e., Carlo J. Caparas’ Totoy Bato, Bad Genius: The Series, Para Sa Isa’t Isa, and others).
