DRPS PHCA Free Newsletter (4/18 to 4/24): BINI on Coachella Week 2, as it happened

BINI marked their first appearance at the Coachella 2026, announces Signals World Tour on June 20 & 21, 2026 in SM Arena Manila.

Eyyy, mga BLOOMs! The Nation’s Girl Group BINI is back for one last time on the Mojave Stage for the second week of the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which happened yesterday, April 17, 2026, at 16:15 (Pacific), and streamed live via the official YouTube channel of Coachella.

The members of the P-Pop Girl Group, comprised of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, greeted the audience with Mabuhay in unison, and most of them introduced themselves in their respective dialects. The girl group also expressed gratitude for the tremendous support they received and the overwhelming opportunity to represent the country once again in one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

To everyone watching around the world, we see you! Thank you so much for being here with us again, thanked Sheena.

Last week it was very unforgettable, and we had so much fun! But today, we’re given another chance to represent our beloved country, the Philippines, so we have to make the most out of it, said Aiah.

Similar to their performance in the first week of Coachella 2026, it ran for 45 minutes, but they made an opening performance with their first song, Strings, followed by Zero Pressure, Out of my Head, Karera, and Salamin Salamin, as well as Blink Twice, Cherry On Top, Blush, and Bikini.

It also marked their Coachella 2026 journey with Pantropiko, which included an electrifying dance break that BLOOMS nationwide in the Philippines, as well as worldwide, including in the United States and the Americas, has to offer. Earlier, a week ago, the P-Pop Girl Group made an online buzz following their 45-minute Coachella debut.

Similar to their Coachella Debut Performance in the first week earlier, #BINI_CoachellaWk2, BINI BORN FOR COACHELLA, and #BINICHELLA dominated the online trends on X/Twitter worldwide. In contrast, their live performance videos of Pantropiko and Blush have reached more than 5 million and 1.8 million views respectively, marking their debut as the most viewed video highlights on the Coachella YouTube Channel.

It also made history as the first Filipino group to perform in the prestigious music festival, not only the time when this girl group was formed, but also when the ABS-CBN broadcast network have shut down by the government on May 5, 2020, due to the expired franchise, which later, made a controversy involving the rejection of the congress to renew its franchise, and years after, the recent Lopez Family dispute that debunked a PR attack against the company and its future operations, as stated on their recent official statement of the company.

Their recent shining moment and maiden set were among the highlights of Coachella’s first weekend, as cited in international publications such as Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian.

Additionally, Senator Bam Aquino filed Resolution № 370 in the Senate lauding BINI for bringing pride and honor to the Philippines and for highlighting Filipino talent and artistry on the world stage.

Before BINI performed at Coachella 2026, the girl group dropped its latest EP Signals on April 9, 2026, and debuted the key track Blush on the Coachella stage. The EP has already earned almost 10 million streams on Spotify. The Blush music video has already generated over one million views on YouTube as of the writing of their ABS-CBN press release.

Furthermore, upon their return to the Philippines from their applauded debut performance in Coachella, the group is set to go on a world tour, under the title, Signals, beginning with their first show in the SM Arena in Manila, taking place on June 20, 2026, followed by their show in the SM Seaside Cebu Arena on July 11, 2026. The group will also head to the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Taiwan for the said world tour.

The ticket sales for the SM MOA Arena in Manila began on April 15 (for BLOOM Membership Pre-Sale) and 16 (for all other ticket buyers), 2026, via SM Tickets online and SM Tickets outlets nationwide. However, all of the ticket tiers (SVIP 1, SVIP 2, VIP, Box Premium, and Box Regular) for their first day of the SM MOA Arena in Manila Show have been sold out on the day of the general sales.

Following this, the girl group will also hold the second day of the same Manila show, scheduled for June 21, 2026.
