GMA Network’s news entity, GMA News, further reaffirms its commitment to Serbisyong Totoo after reverting from its former name, GMA Integrated News, which previously campaigned for “Magkaisa Tayong Labanan Ang Fake” to combat false and misleading information circulating online through social media and the World Wide Web.
With its latest campaign, “Team Totoo”, GMA News will bring together its roster of seasoned journalists, highlighting the people behind the country’s leading news organization that anyone has trusted, combined with truth-tellers, experts in their respective fields, and some of the country’s most experienced journalists.
GMA News upheld its promise of “Walang Kinikilingan, Walang Pinoprotektahan, Noon At Ngayon, Serbisyong Totoo” by spotlighting the journalists pursuing the truth, wherever the story leads and whatever the subject may be.
The campaign was aimed at the people behind every credible news report, with responsible journalists diligently checking information, verifying claims, consulting the right experts and sources, conducting research, seeking answers, and pursuing all sides of each news article before publishing them online.
Together with over a thousand journalists, staff, and crew working across several platforms, GMA News remained its lead as the country’s largest and most experienced news organization. With the launch of the Team Totoo campaign, the organization will launch its own 30-minute-long verification-based news and information show airing before 24 Oras, Usap-Usapan: What We Know So Far, scheduled to premiere on September 14, 2026, via GTV.
The program will deliver the biggest and latest news developments combined with trending claims, viral posts, rumors, and breaking stories to the test through verification journalism, and investigate what is true, false, or unclear, keeping audiences up to date as facts develop.
The show will also feature a lineup of segments that bring its verification-driven approach to different kinds of stories, as part of its promise of Noon At Ngayon, Serbisyong Totoo.
Through Team Totoo and Usap-Usapan: What We Know So Far, GMA News celebrates the collective experience and expertise of its journalists and reinforces an unwavering commitment to truth and the responsibility that comes with informing the public.

Barangay Love Stories and Kalurks, now on GMA and GTV; two ABS-CBN-GMA offerings, also coming in September
After 17 years, Barangay Love Stories, one of the radio drama programs on GMA Radio’s flagship network, Barangay LS, comes to television this afternoon, September 12, 2026.
Hosted by Papa Dudut, the leading radio drama and podcast will take a brighter step beyond FM radio as the show brings its well-loved stories to life through a visually compelling, emotionally resonant drama format for television screens and mobile devices.
Nasa TV na ang forever – that is what Barangay Love Stories has promised: to adapt the leading radio show and podcast into a TV series that brings the stories and emotions to life that audiences have imagined for years.
From now on, viewers will be captivated by these first three episodes of Barangay Love Stories on GMA, featuring Shuvee Etrata, Anthony Constantino, Sofia Pablo, Iñigo Jose, Ashley Sarmiento, and Rave Victoria – all of whom are known as ex-housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Editions 1.0 and 2.0 (excluding Anthony).
Yung dating sound effects lang to imagine the drama scenes, ngayon may kulay na, may ngiti na, may luha na na makikita ninyo sa TV, Papa Dudut added.
Meanwhile, on the following day (September 13, 2026), viewers will also experience a talk show focusing on the top trending topics, hottest issues, and viral content, hosted by a fresh, unexpected trio of Ashley Rivera, Jhai Ho, and Baus Rufo, in Kalurks, airing on GMA Network’s sister channel, GTV.
The hosts of the talk show come from their own backgrounds: radio and television presenter Jhai Ho as the Showbiz Kalurker, focusing on all the fresh and hot issues; Baus Rufo as the SocMed Kalurker, staying in the loop on viral content and trending topics on the internet; and Ashley Rivera as the Filter Kalurker, taking on her honest take on the hottest happenings.
The show will also invite several personalities in entertainment and digital media to share their stories and insights with their audiences.
Kalurks will begin the fun chikahan on September 13, 2026, at 20:30, via GTV.
Furthermore, the collaboration between GMA Network, the Philippines’ leading television, radio, and media company, and ABS-CBN, the digital media and entertainment company, levels up the entertainment on-air and online, as they will deliver two new offerings in September: a new Prime Video original series, Honor Thy Mother, and the return of Gandang Gabi Vice on-air via GMA-7, with unfiltered releases via iWant.
Firstly, the highly anticipated family drama-suspense series led by Sharon Cuneta and Barbie Forteza is about to premiere later at midnight on September 11, 2026, as ABS-CBN’s drama unit Dreamscape Entertainment, Prime Video, and GMA Network will feature a story that follows a powerful businesswoman (Sharon Cuneta) whose carefully ordered life is disrupted when a determined young woman (Barbie Forteza) uncovers a life-changing truth about herself that she is Cuneta’s long-lost daughter, titled Honor Thy Mother, directed by Onat Diaz and Dolly Lulu.
Continuing with the premise of the 14-episode original series, as they reconnect after years apart, mother and daughter must confront family secrets, ambition, and the consequences of the past. The show served as the first ABS-CBN-GMA-collaborated drama to be released on Prime Video, the second under the production with Dreamscape Entertainment, which previously produced their collab drama series, Unbreak My Heart, back in 2023, and the third series to collaborate between the Kapamilya and Kapuso networks, following their previous drama, The Secrets of Hotel 88 (produced by Star Creatives Television).
The advance screening and media conference for the series took place at the Solaire Resort North on September 8, 2026, together with the cast of the series, including Sharon, Barbie, John Estrada, Khalil Ramos, Mercedes Cabral, and Criza Taa, alongside the show’s creators, production team, and Prime Video Southeast Asia Content Acquisition Head Chaitanya Divan.
During the Question-and-Answer portion of the event, the cast and creators shared behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the series, including how they portray its complex characters and the themes that make it deeply personal. They also shared a glimpse into how their own relationships with family shaped their connection to the story and how they explored love, sacrifice, secrets, and the ties that bind mothers and daughters.
Honor Thy Mother is scheduled to release exclusively and globally (in 240 countries) via Prime Video at midnight on September 11, 2026 (Philippine Standard Time). Viewers in the Philippines may enjoy it with a Prime Video subscription, priced locally at PHP 149.00 per month.
Secondly, after six years since this comedy talk show was last aired on ABS-CBN, the Phenomenal Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda is back to bring more laughter and good vibes on Gandang Gabi Vice, airing via GMA Network and iWant Philippines beginning on September 13, 2026.
To kick things off, comedy talk show host Meme Vice will welcome Kapuso actor and Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards as a special guest for the show’s return. Also joining the show are the new co-hosts in the mix: Vince Maristela, Divine Tetay, and Verna, collectively known as the Geng Gang.
Mangyayari na talaga, as confirmed by Vice Ganda during the talk show’s return.
Meme Vice also openly welcomed the fresh format that Gandang Gabi Vice will have its own Unfiltered version, sharing that viewers can fully watch all raw and complete moments of the comedy talk show.
iWant subscribers, priced locally at PHP 35.00 per month for the Basic Plan, PHP 119.00 per month for the Premium Plan, and USD 4.99 per month for Kapusos and Kapamilyas abroad (or equivalent currency worldwide, promotional price for the United States until October 31, 2026), will deliver even more fun for Gandang Gabi Vice, as its unfiltered portions of each episode not seen on-air under the title, GGV: Unfiltered, also scheduled to release on the same day as the show’s premiere.
The Unfiltered version provides a longer experience than those shown on-air, streaming more than an hour’s worth of added uncut comedic moments in each episode, as seen by the live studio audience.

CocoJul’s Feel-Good Vibes on Sigabo are sought by viewers; Star Magic and ABS-CBN on impersonators of Laurenti Dyogi
– Coco Martin
ABS-CBN’s primetime drama Coco Martin’s Sigabo continued to deliver good vibes and inspiration to viewers on weeknights and maintained its concurrent viewership of over 300,000 on Kapamilya Online Live via YouTube, with the kilig level for Coco Martin and Julia Montes rising to the highest level with their playful dynamic as Gabo and Sam.
Their feel-good kilig vibe in the series continues as the two play as a fake husband and wife. She, Sam (Julia Montes), continues to pretend to have amnesia so that she can investigate Gabo (Coco Martin) and his supposed connection to her moral enemies, the Zafras.
Within the week, viewers expected more heart-fluttering scenes as their interest in each other becomes apparent, exchanging sweet smiles while dancing together at a birthday celebration of Rudy (Joey Marquez), Gabo’s father. However, Gabo may find himself in an action-packed encounter once again when Django’s (Jhong Hilario) group causes a commotion at the party.
Meanwhile, one of the cast members of the primetime series, Carmi Martin, rejects a blind item published by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) claiming that Coco Martin’s Sigabo will soon air its finale episode. Additionally, according to Media Chika, the Facebook page named “Kapuso Warriors Original”, which is a critic of ABS-CBN and its programs, maliciously name-called the primetime show in two words, in combination with its title.
Sigabo continued to maintain more than 300,000 concurrent online viewers on Kapamilya Online Live via the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel, despite its competitor, The Master Cutter, continuing to win in the TV Ratings, according to data from the Nielsen NUTAM Report.
As of September 9, 2026, during the show’s broadcast on Kapamilya Online Live alongside its broadcast partners, about 332,997 had watched the primetime drama concurrently online.
For Carmi, she pointed out that the blind item is not related to the CocoJul-led primetime show, and the whole team for the show would not be affected. Hindi po Sigabo ang nasa blind item. And let us not wish na mawalan po ng trabaho ang team, para lang sa intriga. Hindi n’yo po gugustuhin sa pamilya ninyo o sa kapwa ninyo na mawalan ng trabaho, she said.
Coco Martin’s Sigabo airs on weeknights at 20:00 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant, ALLTV2, A2Z, TV5, and The Filipino Channel (TFC) for Kapamilyas subscribed to pay TV or IPTV.
Meanwhile, on September 4, 2026, ABS-CBN’s talent management firm Star Magic warned the public about individuals impersonating the ABS-CBN Entertainment Production and Talent Management Head Laurenti Dyogi through various instant messaging platforms, i.e., Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc., involving inquiries for Pinoy Big Brother auditions, Star Magic artists, and other entertainment-related opportunities.
ABS-CBN also added that official announcements related to Pinoy Big Brother, particularly the forthcoming season under the collaboration with GMA Network, the Collab 3.0, will be released only through their official social media accounts, particularly Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
Star Magic advised the public to refrain from engaging with unverified accounts, sharing their personal information, or unsolicitedly sending monetary amounts (including bank or e-wallet details, if any) to anyone claiming to represent the talent management agency and its head, including ABS-CBN, Pinoy Big Brother, and many other Star Magic/ABS-CBN-linked entities.
As of August 31, 2026, the online auditions for Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0 via the ABS-CBN Join Now website have ended. However, on August 20, 2026, the reality show reminded the public that an email message circulated involving the upcoming on-site audition for the show, scheduled for September 2026, is false and has not been authorized by ABS-CBN, Pinoy Big Brother, and all other relevant entities.
Pinoy Big Brother reminds the public that only their official communication channels and accounts will send all legitimate communications, updates, and notifications regarding audition results and subsequent rounds. PBB previously held its on-site auditions in the second quarter of 2024 in several malls in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, for their previous civilian season, Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, alongside global online auditions.
DRPS PHCA also informed the public with a similar reminder on each post related to Pinoy Big Brother before each statement issued by ABS-CBN, to provide necessary public advisory to avoid false and misleading claims.
The reminder reads: Beware of false announcements or unsolicited messages through email, instant messaging, or SMS involving Pinoy Big Brother auditions. Always follow the official social media accounts of Pinoy Big Brother (with the “verified tick”) on Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram for further announcements. If you’re unsure whether an audition announcement is legitimate, consult PBB, ABS-CBN, or Star Magic.
ABS-CBN is the sole license holder for Big Brother in the Philippines, based on the reality show of the same name, which originated in the Netherlands and is produced by Banijay Entertainment.
