Entertaining more for ASAP XP

ASAP XP adds a second day, debunking a fake news about the “Xtra Pamamaalam” social media post
Following the immense ticket sales of the upcoming event of ABS-CBN Studios taking place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, ASAP XP, scheduled for May 10, 2026, the event organizer and producers behind the Sunday noontime show aired on ABS-CBN platforms announced that they will hold a second show, taking place on the same day of the event, at 19:00.
The first show for ASAP XP, taking place on May 10, 2026, at 12:00, has almost sold out all of its tickets after 24 hours since sales began, including VVIP, Patron A/B, and Lower Box tiers. However, tickets for ASAP XP, in General Admission (PHP 500) and Upper Box (PHP 700) tiers, are still available at the moment.
Ticket sales for the second show of ASAP XP, including limited additional seats for the Patron A tier of the first show, are now available via Ticketnet Box Office outlets and Ticketnet Online.
Both the two shows of the event will feature a star-studded performance that ASAP delivered on-air and online, including AC Bonifacio, Alexa Ilacad, Angeline Guinto, Bamboo, Carmelle Collado, Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, Erik Santos, Esang de Torres, Fyang Smith, Gary Valenciano, Gela Atayde, Jameson Blake, Jane de Leon, Jarren Garcia, Jason Dy, Jeremy Glinoga, JM dela Cerna, Marielle Montellano, JM Ibarra, JM Yosures, Jona, Kai Montinola, KD Estrada, Khimo Gumatay, Klarisse de Guzman, Kyla, Maki (1st show only), Martin Nievera, Maymay Entrata, Mayonnaise (2nd show only), Regine Velasquez-Alcasod, Reiven Umali, Sofronio Vasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, P-Pop Groups BGYO, BINI (their first local appearance a month after their successful and applauded Coachella 2026 debut performance), and DNA, and many others.
After ASAP XP, Filipino Aussies will experience the pure entertainment that ASAP can bring to Sydney, Australia, through ASAP Australia, scheduled for July 25, 2026, at the TikTok Entertainment Centre.
However, Tele News, collectively known as Prok Noy on social media, particularly on Facebook, continued to spread false and misleading information involving ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5, their programming, and the respective talents of each talent agency of these networks, i.e., Star Magic, Sparkle Artist Center, and Star Worx.
But at 15:00 of yesterday, April 20, 2026, the page published another fake news article involving the upcoming ASAP XP at the Araneta Coliseum event, taking place on May 10, 2026, with two shows within the day – 12:00 and 19:00 – claimed that it would be a final goodbye for the Sunday noontime show, calling it, “Xtra Pamamaalam”.
The social media post was heavily criticized by Jeff Oli Gar TV, Certified Kapamilya, Laban Kapamilya, and many other ABS-CBN-related pages, citing that the news from the Facebook post was false and misleading. The post also received positive reactions (most of them liked or hearted the post, while some reacted with a “Haha” reaction), despite the news it contained being untrue.
It is deemed that ASAP XP will NOT serve as the end for the Sunday noontime show. They will also have an international show at the TikTok Entertainment Centre, Sydney, Australia, known as ASAP Australia, scheduled for July 25, 2026. Thus, the Facebook post from Tele News (Prok Noy) is not true.
A long-gone game show has returned
Luis Manzano returns for Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, now airing beginning this weekend

After a decade since the last airing of an ABS-CBN game show franchise based on Deal or No Deal (originated from Dutch-based game show Miljoenenjacht), Luis Manzano, from the previous season, returns as a host for Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, on its sixth season. It will also mark the 20th anniversary since it first aired on ABS-CBN last June 2006.
For the first time, the returning game show broadcast its premiere this weekend, April 25 and 26, 2026, via Kapamilya Channel, ALLTV2, and A2Z, with live streaming available via Kapamilya Online Live and iWant, airing at 19:30.
The new season of Kapamilya Deal or No Deal will feature a new set of Lucky Stars, holding their 20 briefcases containing a value offered by the banker, ranging from PHP 1 to PHP 1,000,000. Among them are AC Bonifacio, The Aguinaldos, Arizona Brandy, Asia Yoona, Aubrey Miles, Bassilyo, Christine Samson, Cris Villanueva, Diego Gutierrez, Eric Fructoso, Inah Evans, Jameson Blake, Jeremy Glinoga, Jopay Paguia, Kolette Madelo, Long Mejia, Negi, Rave Victoria, Red Ollero, and Ynez Veneracion.
Deal or No Deal? That is the question that the new players will ask, including this week’s guests, Jessy Mendiola and Vilma Santos-Recto, and Jodi Sta. Maria. It is part of the two-part celebration for Luis Manzano, who turned 45 on April 21, 2026.
Apart from that, the evening’s celebrity player will be chosen from the 20 Lucky Stars through a roulette draw. The excitement continues as the original banker returns once again to test the Lucky Stars with tempting offers and tricky decisions.
On June 5, 2006, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal premiered on ABS-CBN, with Kris Aquino as the host of the game show until the season 3 finale aired on March 27, 2009. When the game show premiered on its fourth season on February 25, 2012, Luis Manzano became the host for Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.
Initially, days before the announcement of the game show’s return on April 25 and 26, 2026, it will also be broadcast on the sister network of GMA Network, GTV, alongside Everybody Sing (a game show hosted by Vice Ganda, which previously aired also on ABS-CBN platforms), when an EPG saying that the show will also be seen on that channel, supposedly on April 18 and 19, 2026.
However, the airing didn’t go through. Instead, the returning game show will air the following week on ABS-CBN platforms, including ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and iWant.
ABS-CBN serves as the licensor of Deal or No Deal in the Philippines, in which the game show franchise is owned by Banijay Entertainment, the company behind Big Brother (Pinoy Big Brother), Your Face Sounds Familiar, and many others.
