DRPS PHCA Weekly Newsletter – October 14 to 20, 2023

Hello dear viewers of DRPS PHCA! The archive will introduce you our own Newsletter available on the DRPS PHCA Website, the DRPS PHCA Newsletter! We will bring you updates in and throughout the Archives, from DRPS One Channel to our New Media Contents on our social media.

You have seen the number of TV Commercials during the third week of GMA’s Love Before Sunrise and the Ultimate Ride week of The Iron Heart on ABS-CBN on DRPS PHCA’s Social Media pages, including DRPS PHCA Online’s TV Ad Listings page. But how supportive that the advertisers we’ve seen during these shows?

On their yesterday’s episode on October 13, 2023, we have seen that Love Before Sunrise has aired 17 TV Commercials on all of the four commercial gaps, only based via GMA. But for during the Ultimate Ride made by Apollo on The Iron Heart, we have seen 61 TV Commercials on all of the three commercial gaps on Kapamilya Channel, including 55 TV Ads are aired if this series was broadcast on A2Z and TV5.

On our next week’s countings, we will see how advertisers performed during the fourth week of Love Before Sunrise, and also the premiere week of Can’t Buy Me Love, all based via GMA, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z/TV5 respectively.

There are several Fake News Alert’s we’ve issued (aside from the other alerts we’ve seen) on the DRPS PHCA Social Media, citing for the use of MTRCB for faking the suspension order, along with the use of the TV Networks for claiming that the religious programs are being moved on some of the channels affected.

​This involve the following:

1. A certain anonymously published Facebook Post on a Facebook Group “Philippines Radio/TV Transmitter, Studio, Tower. Antenna”, claiming that a number of religious programs aired on Philippine TV was moved on various TV Channels, i.e. GMA Network, TV5 and NET25, which is FALSE AND MISLEADING – Ang Iglesia ni Cristo and other INC-related programming are being aired on NET25 and INCTV, with El Shaddai can be seen online thru Delta Broadcasting’s Official Social Media Pages (along with DWXI on the AM Radio), and GMA Network aired The 700 Club Asia, Beyond Today, The Key of David, and occasionally on GTV, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also, TV5 and PTV aired Oras Ng Himala as well.
2. A certain anonymously published Facebook Photo on the same Facebook Group, claiming that Sparkle U: Frenemies aired it’s finale episode last Sunday, October 8, 2023, on GMA, GTV and PINOY HITS, which is FALSE AND MISLEADING, because it will continue to air for the third episode this October 15, 2023. To date, this will broadcast every Sundays at 18h00, after 24 Oras Weekend on GMA, Kapuso Stream, GTV and PINOY HITS. 
3. A certain Faceboook Text Post by the name of “Jeepoy”, claiming the final broadcast of #ItsShowtime has aired yesterday. October 13, 2023, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, Jeepney TV and GTV (including iWantTFC and TFC IPTVOD), which is FALSE AND MISLEADING, since recently, October 14, 2023, the show will be taking a break following the MTRCB Suspension Order against the show for twelve airing days, and it shall be replaced with It’s Your Lucky Day! on that date until October 27, 2023. It shall be back by October 28, 2023.

On October 11, 2023, ABS-CBN has announced a temporary replacement to the currently taking a break Noontime Variety Show, It’s Showtime, as a result to the MTRCB Suspension order, that it shall air It’s Your Lucky Day! within the period of October 14 to 27, 2023.

As per ABS-CBN’s official statement, The Philippines’ newest game variety show “It’s Your Lucky Day” will temporarily replace “It’s Showtime”. The dynamic program “It’s Your Lucky Day”, from the same team behind “It’s Showtime”, will feature a set of original game and variety segments. This stars Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, Jennica Garcia, Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, Seth Fedelin, Negi, Long Mejia, Petite, and Divine Tetay.

This shall air from recently, October 14 until 27, Mondays through Saturdays at 12h00 on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and GTV. It will also be available on Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.

Once the breaktime period for It’s Showtime passes by October 28, 2023, they will be back on the air on the same channels and timeslot (Weekdays at 12h00 to 15h00 and Saturdays at 11h30 to 15h00, except during the days of NCAA Sporting Matches on GTV, which shall air until 14h00).
