DRPS PHCA Free Entertainment: A brand new chapter of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo has begun, Andrea Brillantes as Fatima, bids farewell recently

​In case you have missed the recent episode of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo Andrea Brillantes ends her act as Fatima, along with Michael de Mesa, who played the role of Paeng. But a day earlier, the hit Kapamilya series made a new chapter and dropped a new trailer, poster, and theme song.

This new era of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo made the beginnings of Tanggol (Coco Martin)’s brave crusade for justice despite being a high-profile fugitive after his enemies blatantly tarnished his reputation. The special trailer featured an explosive do-or-die encounter between Tanggol and Rockyboy (Baron Geisler), as well as Tanggol’s pursuit of Divina (Rosanna Rocess), his former business partner who betrayed him. 

Despite the threat to his life, as what ABS-CBN said in it’s press release, it seems that Tanggol will find a new and unexpected ally in rookie police officer Ponggay (Maris Racal). After initially clashing in their first few encounters, Tanggol and Ponggay will find themselves teaming up against a common enemy in Rockyboy.

While the viewers earned praise to the powerful tandem between Tanggol and Ponggay, with their scene featured Ponggay going to battle wearing only sexy lingerie as Tanggol heroically pulled up on a motorcycle as they were being gunned down.

There will be more shocking plot twists will also unravel in the future episodes, one example is when Rigor (John Estrada) clashes with his trusted backers Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca). Danger also looms for Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) when Rigor unleashes his wrath and locks her up in his house.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which airs on weekdays at 20h00 on ABS-CBN Platforms, recently welcomed it’s new cast members, while the series’ streaming on Kapamilya Online Live, consistently draws over half a million peak concurrent viewers, with over 533,224 of Kapamilyas tuned in online have seen the start of this new chapter (October 6, 2025, ABS-CBN Entertainment YT).
