After several rumors that ABS-CBN’s very own newscast, TV Patrol and TV Patrol Weekend (as seen on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z), that shall be broadcast on ALLTV on Channel 2, it shall happen beginning tomorrow, April 15, 2024 for TV Patrol and April 20, 2024 for TV Patrol Weekend. It shall be broadcast on the same schedule as is (Weekdays, 18h30 to 20h00 and Weekends, 17h30 to 18h15).
It was known that the ALLTV Channel was broadcast on Analog Channel 2 and Digital Channel 16 (in Mega Manila), which was owned and operated by AMBS and launched on September 13, 2022.
Have some trivia: Prior to ALLTV’s launch (and several test broadcasts a few months prior to this), the Analog Channel 2 itself, was formerly broadcasting ABS-CBN (with callsign “DWWX-TV”) until May 5, 2020, when the NTC has issued a Case and Desist Order which put this, and also the Digital Channel 16 (utilized for ABS-CBN TVplus Extra Exclusive Channels) to a halt (at 19h52) and it’s frequencies have been recalled on September 2020, about two months after the denial of it’s franchise renewal.
