PBB Collab 2.0: CARMELLE’s Sobra-Sobra Factor is near for Eurovision Asia on November 14, 2026

Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0’s Riles Diva and Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 Philippine representative Carmelle Collado, otherwise known as “CARMELLE,” is about to figure all things out and won’t put herself down for her entry song, Sobra-Sobra (transl. Too Much), at the song contest’s grand final taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 14, 2026.

In a send-off show titled “CARMELLE, Sobra-Sobrang Send Off,” attended by her family, friends, and fans and supporters of the Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown Season 1 finalist and PBB Collab 2.0 ex-housemate, hoped them to help put the Original Pinoy Music (OPM) on the global map by emphasizing its ability the Sobra-Sobra factor to everyone across cultures.

Yung goal ko talaga is to leave the global audience with a deep sense of connection. Maiintindihan po sana nila na yung Filipino music is universally relatable, CARMELLE shared.

The Bicolana artist, who also won seven (7) gold medals from the 2019 World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), was also a contestant on The Voice Kids Philippines Season 4 under coach Bamboo and finished as the first runner-up. She also revealed that joining the competition is a dream come true, as she has long aspired to perform on the global stage since she was a child.

Team CARMELLE, comprising the entry song’s writers Mat Olavides and Nica del Rosario; production head Jessamae Samson; stylist and creative director Ica Villanueva; and ABS-CBN Music key figures Roxy Liquigan and Jonathan Manalo, supported the Philippine bet for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, the first-ever Asian season of Europe’s most-watched song contest created by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and in collaboration with Voxovation.

Jonathan Manalo, the overall creatives, content, and operations head for ABS-CBN Music, shared that her journey on the global stage could help out representing the Philippines and championing the empowered spirit. Jonathan said, “More than ABS-CBN, ito ay laban nating mga Pilipino. Lahat tayo, flag ng Philippines ang wine-wave natin dito. Nakakatuwa na si CARMELLE ay representation ng isang empowered Filipina.”

CARMELLE can sing, of course, given na magaling talaga. Maganda ang boses. But to dance and sing at the same time, and rap, on the global stage. That is very exciting for us, Jessamae believes in the extraordinary talent that will naturally shine in the competition.

Apl.de.ap, BINI, and Bamboo also surprised CARMELLE with their own messages, as well as the Philippine Selection Night runner-ups Marielle Monetllano and SAGA, wishing her luck in the ESCA 2026 grand finals. CARMELLE also shared the announcement during the send-off event that she will hold an upcoming solo concert, Unleashed, taking place at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, Quezon City, on January 29, 2027.
