PBB Gen 11: The Big 4 bags several awards in the 7th VP Choice Awards, Kai made an end for SHS

On April 29, 2026, several happenings have made for the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 Big 4 – Kai Montinola, Kolette Madelo, Rain Celmar, and Fyang Smith – one of which made a successful end for Senior High School, while all of them bagged several awards in the recently concluded 7th Village Pipol Choice Awards, held at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan, Quezon City.

Some of the nominees in the 7th VP Choice Awards won successfully in some of the award categories, which include the following:

  • Breakthrough Star of the Year: Fyang Smith
  • Original Pinoy Music (OPM) Song of the Year: Pahuway by Rain Celmar (from the b luvd EP)
  • PiPOL mgZn Choice 2025 – Female Teen Face of the Year: Kai Montinola (3rd Place) and Rain Celmar (2nd Place)
  • Solo Performer of the Year: Kolette Madelo for Call Me KOLETTE!

Meanwhile, “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” which was topbilled by Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, and from which JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith also appeared in the film, released in March 2025, won as the Movie of the Year. The lead casts of the said film also won as the Movie Actor and Actress of the Year.

The 7th VP Choice Awards made a significant contribution to a cause as the award-giving body, as presented by the Village Pipol Magazine, PiPOL mgZn, and its Producer, RED Entertainment, donated PHP 100,000.00 to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), its advocacy partner and beneficiary. These donations are from the Facebook Star votes, a portion of which are donated to the said animal welfare entity upon successful vote.

Village Pipol Magazine, PiPOL mgZn, and RED Entertainment organize the VP Choice Awards, an award-giving body founded in 2019. Choicely powered the VPCA App and Web Portal during the voting period, which ran from February 15, 2026, to March 17, 2026. Its media partners for the 7th VPCA are ABS-CBN News, LionhearTV, The Manila Times, Pilipino Mirror, Blogapalooza, The New Channel (TNC), and Vritimes.

Furthermore, apart from Kai Montinola’s win as the PiPOLL Choice Teen Face of the Year, the PBB Gen 11 ex-housemate had a successful end to her Senior High School years as she graduated from the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand of the Saint Paul Learning Center. It is the second PBB Gen 11 ex-housemate to complete Senior High School in 2026, following Kanata Tapia, who graduated on March 31, 2026, from the Rizal National High School in Occidental Mindoro.

The PBB ex-housemate-SHS graduate also achieved several academic awards, including Badminton Athlete for District Meet, Best in Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions, Best in 21st Century Literature from the Philippines and the World, Best in Entrepreneurship, and Best in Physical Education and Health.

Kai Montinola appeared in Maalaala Mo Kaya Season 31 (for Makeup episode), Roja (as Ice Mercado), several TV commercials from Sunsilk, Chowking, and Del Monte Fruity Zing, and as a performer and singer from ASAP and latest EP, Kaileidoscope.
