Today, May 13, 2026, marks the 20th birthday of our Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 Big Winner, Fyang Smith, who made our Kapamilyas and Kaunforgettabolabolabols on-air, online, and anywhere in the Philippines and in the world, all thanks to her recent appearances in 2026, through Love Is Never Gone (with JM Ibarra and guest antagonist character Kanata Tapia), and Almost Us (also with JM, together with PBB Collab ex-housemate Dustin Yu).
And speaking of Almost Us, to celebrate not only her birthday, but also the success of their romantic-comedy film, led by the love team themselves, playing their roles of RR and Janine, Regal Entertainment and Project 8 Projects announced on their social media that the film will expand to three more cinemas, as of 15:30 on May 13, 2026.
Earlier, Regal and Project 8 announced that Almost Us would be shown in 127 cinemas. However, due to its success, with over PHP 23 million in film gross sales in the first week alone, they added three more cinemas, including SM City Rosario, SM City Consolacion, and JTC Bantay, Ilocos Sur.
Now in its second week of showing in cinemas nationwide, Almost Us continued to receive positive reviews from moviegoers and film reviewers. The all-out support that their fans showed JMFyang was evident through the JMFyang Official-led grand launch event held on May 6, 2026, which was later featured in an article from The Philippine Star under the title “Fans go all-out for JMFyang’s first solo lead film Almost Us.”
Almost Us is showing in its second week across 130 cinemas nationwide, as of the writing.
Meanwhile, fans of other PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates, including Gwen Montano, Rain Celmar, Therese Villamor, and Marc Nanninga, will expect the following happenings within mid-May 2026.
One of which is the first live theatrical appearance for Gwen Montano in a theater play organized by the PETA Summer Workshop 2026, under the title of “Langit, Lupa, Im-im-impyerno,” playing the role of Don Alejandro. Gwen, as the people may know, was an ex-housemate of PBB Gen 11, known as the Brave Bromantiko of Cavite, who has experience in theatrical play, alongside being a dentist, citing that he passed the Dentists Licensure Examinations for May and June 2025.
Apart from Gwen, the theatrical play, scheduled for May 17, 2026, taking place at the PETA Theater Center, also casts Joseph Saez, Giezelle Capuz, Reizen Coronado, Billie Molito, Renz Flordeliza, Juan Fontanilla, Chie Semilla, Arvin Joshua, Yanna Dolores, Luzcille Abellon, Julie Ann, Joshua Cuerdo, Mikki Lopez, Fenichi Lozada, AJ Valdez, Ikong Villaver, Vash Napoleon, Juan Lacanienta, Andrea Rica, Angel Francisco, Ian Bellen, Aaron Vidal, and Ivy Cac.
Furthermore, Star Hunt Academy will hold its first training anniversary, scheduled for May 15, 2026, at 18:00, to be streamed live via their official TikTok account. It is known that the trainees in the Star Hunt Academy, in terms of PBB Gen 11, are Rain Celmar, Therese Villamor, and Marc Nanninga.
