Featured Article: Fred Moser and John Clifford end PBB Collab 2.0 journey

Before the 5th Eviction Night of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, but after their 11th Weekly Task win (one among the three groups balanced the two towers at the right time, with two groups, led by the ex-housemates, failed to do so), the housemates will face two of these happenings as announced by Big Brother – a Ligtask Challenge and a 5th Nomination Night, which puts six housemates are at risk of eviction.

For their Ligtask Challenge, each group will split into pairs. The first pair had to hold a platform with a ball at its center and navigate an obstacle course while ensuring the ball stayed on the platform. They must then transfer the platform to the other pair, and the other pair would go through the same obstacle course to place the ball in a box at the starting point.

Right after the Ligtask Challenge, Big Brother then announced that the results among the three groups will be safe or nominated. According to the official Ligtask results, Team Soaring Langga, comprising Krystal Mejes, Miguel Vergara, John Clifford, and Heath Jornales, did not place any of the balls, resulting in them receiving an automatic nomination. That group was the third placer from the Ligtask challenge, as the announcement implied.

For the second and first placers of the Ligtask challenge, Team Flap, comprising Fred Moser, Lella Ford, Princess Aliyah, and Ashley Sarmiento, got only one point. Team True-Pa, comprising Carmelle Collado, Joaquin Arce, Sofia Pablo, and Caprice Cayetano, got two points. The second placer from the Ligtask challenge will put two housemates at risk of nomination. At the same time, the other two will be safe for this week (each must select one Kapamilya and one Kapuso housemate).

For the first placer from the Ligtask challenge, all housemates of the winning group (Team True-Pa) will be automatically safe from nomination, and they will have the right to choose among the two housemates from the group that won from the Ligtask, as the second placers will be safe this week. And for this, Team True-Pa decided that Lella Ford and Princess Aliyah would be safe from nomination, thus making Ashley Sarmiento and Fred Moser vulnerable to eviction.

Days later, the wildcard challenge happened with this task: the two wildcards of each wildcard vote-winning Kapamilya and Kapuso ex-housemates had to pull a rope to get to the other side while balancing blocks that were sitting on a platform attached to the rope. If the blocks fell, they would have to redo it. Once on the other side, they must put down the letter block they were holding. Once they have transferred 12 blocks, they must unscramble them into two six-letter words: “SECOND CHANCE” (the board must have “SECOND” on the first line, and “CHANCE” on the second line).

In an episode aired last January 13, 2026, Kapamilya ex-housemates-wildcards Eliza Borromeo and Rave Victoria will compete in this head-to-head battle. After hours of solving, Eliza completed the words “SECOND CHANCE” from the board, marking her journey to return inside as an official housemate. At the same time, ex-housemate-wildcard opponent Rave will be evicted from the house. The following day, Kapuso ex-housemates-wildcards Anton Vinzon and Marco Masa will compete in this head-to-head battle. After hours of solving, Marco completed the words “SECOND CHANCE” from the board, marking his journey to return inside as an official housemate. At the same time, ex-housemate-wildcard opponent Anton will be evicted from the house.

With this, Eliza Borromeo and Marco Masa will regain themselves as official housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0. In contrast, the twelve remaining housemates, including the latest set of nominees, Ashley Sarmiento, John Clifford, Heath Jornales, Fred Moser, Miguel Vergara, and Krystal Mejes, will join the two returning housemates inside.

A few days later, the viewers saw the part where the housemates are working on their 12th Weekly Task called “Sayaw ng Filipiniana”, where they, the housemates, had to learn and perform each of these three Filipino Folk dances, including Maglalatik, Binasuan, and Sayaw sa Bangko, with their rehearsals for this were with the presence of the University of the Philippines (UP) Filipiniana Dance Group.

Furthermore, and related to this featured article regarding the 5th Eviction Night of PBB Collab 2.0, Star Magic talent and Kapamilya housemate Fred Moser and Sparkle talent and Kapuso housemate John Clifford ended their journey inside the PBB House. This is because the two housemates received the lowest percentage of votes to save among the three Kapuso and Kapamilya nominees, of 25.23% for Fred and 24.17% for Clifford.

Other nominees, including Ashley Sarmiento (with 27.96% BBS Votes), Heath Jornales (with 47.87% BBS Votes), Miguel Vergara (with 35.20% BBS Votes), and Krystal Mejes (with 39.57% BBS Votes), will stay longer inside the house. At the same time, PBB Collab 1.0 ex-housemate Klarisse de Guzman will return as a houseguest for the thirteenth week.

PBB Gen 11: Kanata turned 18 last Jan. 12, JMFyang’s Ghosting, free on iWant until Jan. 31, and PiPOL mgZn Face and Sexiest 2025 Final Voting

“Walking forward with grace, happy 18th to me!” That was what Kanata Tapia said in her recent social media post, featuring her shining yet gorgeously daring photoshoot, as the “Lola-Ving Apo” of Occidental Mindoro, a Star Magic talent and “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” alum, has turned 18 years old today, January 12, 2026. Kevin Jay Antaran took the photoshoot, including the other shots seen previously on Kanata’s social media account.

Dubbed as the “bunso” of Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 by netizens online, the ex-housemate was born on January 12, 2008. At the age of 16, she entered the Big Brother house on the day of the reality show’s premiere, July 20, 2024, and was later evicted from the house on the second eviction night, along with her co-evictee, Marc Nanninga.

Known as an actress of ABS-CBN’s premier talent agency, Star Magic, she was notably known for an online series on iWant last year, titled “Tropang G.O.A.T.”, in which she played “Chiyaki”, an e-sports player of the Legend Slayers Team, and a student from Masigasig Integrated School. The online series premiered on August 15, 2025, through iWant and concluded on October 3, 2025, and was removed from the streaming platform on December 31, 2025. It is produced by UxS, in collaboration with Milo and FIVB.

Apart from Kanata, the series also stars Sparkle Talent Beauty Gonzalez (as Coach Toni), Santino Santiago (as Balong), Jansen Magpusao (as Sid), then-Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemates Joaquin Arce (as Gino) and Krystal Mejes (as Lia), Nova Villa (as Lola Uray), Freddie Webb (as Tatang Batas), Manila’s Finest star Cedrick Juan (as Coach Rom), among others.

The video clips published on DRPS PHCA’s TikTok Account, featuring the series that starred her, sparked positive comments about her acting, including one from PBB Gen 11 alum Dingdong Bahan, who congratulated her for being part of the series. All the video clips featuring Chiyaki herself on the DRPS PHCA TikTok account had accumulated approximately 374,230 views when they were published immediately after each episode’s release.

She was also previously seen in a music video of “Ako Na Sana”, sung by Jeri Violago, as posted on Tarsier Records YouTube Channel, who is playing the role of a dating gal, along with Bubble Gang star Erika Davis and Julia Santiago, with Jae Miranda playing the role of a dating show host, as well as “Mahiyain”, sung by Shake, Rattle & Roll Evil Origins “2025” star Arkin Lagman.

Furthermore, the Village Pipol Choice Awards (VPCA) had recently commenced all four batches of PiPOL mgZn’s Face and Sexiest of the Year: The Pi-POLL Choice 2025, which ran its first batch in mid-August 2025 and ended its final batch in mid-December 2025.

Each batch, except for Batch 4, nominated some of the ex-housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 and ran a public voting campaign on the VPCA App and Website, powered by Choicely, the most secure and credible voting platform trusted by Grammys, Eurovision, Miss Universe, and many others.

And after months of voting for each batch to take part in the “Final Five” at the end of each period, PiPOL mgZn announced the following PBB Gen 11 alums (shown below) who were part of the “Final 20”, and the final voting was recently commenced last January 15, 2026, which shall end by February 10, 2026, with one ex-housemate will receive a 7% Vote Boost power, which is a power perk for a top voted nominee of each batch. The final voting will be conducted on the VPCA App and Website.

Take note that this has a criteria and voting system for a total of one hundred percent (100%): a.) fifty percent (50%) are from the public vote (VPCA App and Website), b.) thirty percent (30%) are from the editorial team of PiPOL mgZn and Village Pipol Magazine, and c.) twenty percent (20%) are from the panel of judges. The top three voted-for nominees will receive a VPCA Black Obelisk Trophy.

These finalists in each category will receive invitations to the 7th VPCA Awarding Night, scheduled to take place this coming April. The DRPS PHCA will soon provide an online live pictorial coverage on its Facebook and X accounts as well.

For the Male and Female, Teen and Adult Faces of the Year, JM Ibarra, Fyang Smith, Kai Montinola, Jarren Garcia, Kanata Tapia, Rain Celmar, Kolette Madelo, Jan Silva, JP Cabrera, and Therese Villamor are among the nominees for this category, while for the Sexiest of the Year, the nominees are Jasmine Dudley-Scales and Patrick Ramirez.

And speaking of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, their online series Ghosting is now available for streaming on iWant at no additional cost, but only for a limited time, until January 31, 2026. The ten-episode digital series follows the unexpected romance between Jaja, a spirited college student, and Wilberto, who is, quite literally, a ghost. As their bond deepens, the series explores how love can be found in the most unlikely of circumstances.

“Ghosting” is among the first original digital series released on July 19, 2025, since iWantTFC’s rebrand as iWant in July, and quickly became an online hit, garnering over 30 million views across social media platforms and YouTube from its teasers and official trailer just a week before its July premiere. Directed by Ted Boborol, the first part of the digiseries also stars Gello Marquez, Kobie Brown, Vivoree Esclito, and Zach Guerrero, alongside veteran actresses Peewee O’Hara and Ces Quesada.

You can enjoy all of Part 1’s ten episodes for free until January 31, 2026, and continue with Part 2’s “Deja-BOO!”, consisting of six more episodes, plus its spinoffs “Final Ghostination” and “GirlyPop Diaries,” and even more on iWant like exclusive in advance, on-demand, and live streaming content plus exclusive movies (like The Last Resort, starring PBB Gen 11’s Patrick Ramirez) and microdramas (like Shadow CEO, starring Dylan Yturralde, and When Brothers Fall, starring Jasmine Dudley-Scales), when you subscribe to iWant for the price of PHP 35.00/month for their Ad-Supported Basic Plan, or USD 4.99/month elsewhere in the Philippines (prices may vary).

Radio: GMA Radio continues its lead in 2025 alone

2025 was the year when GMA Network celebrated its 75th Anniversary since the launch of its flagship AM Radio Station Super Radyo DZBB, on 594 KHz on the AM dial. It was also the year when this, along with its FM Station in Mega Manila, Barangay LS, on 97.1 MHz on the FM dial, marked its supremacy as the number one station in a Nielsen Radio Audience Measurement survey in Mega Manila for the entire year 2025.

Super Radyo DZBB, known for its prime radio programs, including Super Balita Nationwide, Saksi sa Dobol B, Pinoy M.D., and an audio simulcast of several GMA Shows (from GMA Integrated News), including 24 Oras, 24 Oras Weekend, Resibo, Saksi, and Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, got a 44.5% Share and a 0.19% rating, which is why this AM Radio Station was the number one in Mega Manila for the entire year 2025.

Apart from Super Radyo DZBB’s leadership, other radio stations are also among the top-rated AM stations, such as 2.) MBC’s DZRH Radio (666 KHz, with 16.4% share and 0.07% rating), 3.) DWWW (774 KHz, with 12.2% share and 0.05% rating), 4.) DWPM Radyo 630, which rebranded as DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 in late-May 2025 (630 KHz, with 10.5% share and 0.04% rating), and 5.) El Shaddai/DBS-led DWXI (1314 KHz, with 4.3% share and 0.02% rating).

Barangay LS, known for its radio drama Barangay Love Stories, as well as its morning radio show Potpot and Friends, and many other radio programs heard on 97.1 MHz on the FM Dial, was also the leader in Mega Manila for the year 2025. The flagship station of GMA Radio on the FM Band in Mega Manila had a share of 47.6% and a rating of 1.37%, according to data from Nielsen Radio Audience in that area for the year 2025.

Other FM Radio stations in Mega Manila were also part of the top-rated FM stations, including 2.) MBC’s Love Radio (DZMB-FM 90.7 MHz, with a share of 17.9% and a rating of 0.51%), 3.) Wish 107.5 (DWNU-FM 107.5 MHz, with a share of 9.8% and a rating of 0.28%), 4.) Yes FM (DWYS-FM 101.1 MHz, with a share of 5.3% and a rating of 0.15%), and 5.) MBS/ZimZam-led Win Radio (DWKY-FM 91.5 MHz, with a share of 3.6% and a rating of 0.10%).

Entertainment: Maymay releases “Masunog Man”, WRIVE unveils their self-titled album, and Runaway Love, out now on iWant.

In 2025 alone, iWant brought some of the best Microdramas under the Quick Feels brand to all its subscribers, like I Am Your Daughter, The Heiress Deception, Shadow CEO, The Billionaire Swap, and the most recent offering (and the last of 2025), When Brothers Fall.

As previously announced on ABS-CBN 2026 Offerings Video, seen during the second part of the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2025 last December 14, 2025, this 2026, iWant will deliver these eight upcoming Quick Feels Microdramas to be seen very soon to all of its subscribers, like Conspiracy of Love, Twist of Fate, The CEO’s Boy Toy, Bring Me, My Stepdaughter, The Chambermaid’s Daughter, The Perfect Wife, and the upcoming Microdrama to release this January 15, 2026, Runaway Love, headlined by Star Magic artists Analain Salvador (known for her recent TV Series appearance in Lavender Fields from 2024) and Rob Blackburn (a Star Music artist known for his recent single, Romantic Hangover, from 2025, and a housemate from Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10 Teen Edition).

This first-ever Microdrama offering of 2026 on iWant follows the unlikely romance and journey between a Filipina domestic helper and an exiled prince brought together by war and survival. Analain Salvador plays Jane, a young Filipina domestic helper working at a palace in the Kingdom of Alvar, serving the royal family and Prince Tim (played by Rob Blackburn), a privileged royal heir whose life turned upside down when a civil war toppled the ruling family.

Facing certain death, Jane helps Prince Tim escape the country and brings him to her impoverished hometown in the Philippines, where he must leave behind his former life of wealth and privilege. While in hiding, Tim adjusts to working-class Filipino life, and an unexpected romance develops between him and Jane. Their attempt at a new life is threatened when an assassin loyal to the new regime tracks them down, intent on eliminating the remaining royal bloodline.

Runaway Love is now available for streaming exclusively on iWant and on Beetzee Play. Non-subscribers of iWant can experience this and all other exclusive content for the price of PHP 35.00 a month for their ad-supported Basic Plan, or USD 4.99 a month elsewhere (prices may vary).

Furthermore, “Roja” star Maymay Entrata released her new song titled “Masunog Man” across all music streaming platforms, which centered on resilience, strength, and liberation, and was inspired by her experience of pain and healing during her mother’s illness and eventual passing. It is her latest single under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label, while her growing discography includes “Amakabogera,” “Paradise,” “Tsada Mahigugma,” and more.

Maymay Entrata plays the role of Luna Javier in ABS-CBN’s primetime series “Roja”, which achieved an all-time high concurrent viewership record of 605,435 on Kapamilya Online Live for the episode aired last Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The most recent episode, which aired yesterday (January 15, 2026), reached 579,945 online live concurrent viewers, both of which numbers are based on data provided on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube Channel.

“Masunog Man” is now streaming on all major music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, and many others, with its music video also available for streaming on YouTube.

Additionally, Star Music P-Pop Boy Group WRIVE, comprising Asi, Drei, Ishiro, Matthew, and Russu, which all of them are known as the contestants of a survival reality show aired on ABS-CBN, Dream Maker, from 2022, takes its first bold step together with the recent release of their self-titled debut album which is also streaming on all major music platforms, a musical journey that captures stories of love, ambition, and growth, echoing the promising P-Pop group’s evolution from trainees to fully realized artists.

Their self-titled debut album, consisting of ten tracks, which includes “Hollywood,” “Pangkalawakan,” “Panaginip Na Lang,” “Pano Kung,” “Color Cash,” “Don’t Make Me Hate You,” previously released singles “Ooh La La” and “Señorita,” and the album’s key track “Hakbang,” serves as a prelude to their upcoming live performance, which happened recently this Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 16:00 at the SM North EDSA Annex Atrium. The free-to-attend event (via the SM Malls Online App) was hosted by Ai dela Cruz, featuring performances by Misha de Leon, Reiven Umali, Khimo Gumatay, and Prince Keino.
