This message from DRPS PHCA and DRPS PHCA – PBB Gen 11 also saw celebratory messages from not only Kanata, but also Dylan Yturralde, who joined StarPop in a recent social media post, regarding the 60th founding anniversary of the public school in Occidental Mindoro. However, this will not only mark their founding anniversary, but also the upcoming coronation night of Mr. & Ms. Rizal NHS 2026, which will take place tomorrow at 19:00.

And yes, this is what Kanata had said to congratulate Rizal National High School (Occidental Mindoro) for their 60th year of providing education to everyone in the Rizal municipality. Kanata was proclaimed as the 2024 Ms. Rizal NHS in the coronation night.
Months before Kanata Tapia (or otherwise known as Jane Rhea Jaravata Tapia) became a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, she was a candidate for the 2024 Ms. Rizal NHS, which happened on April 26, 2024 (as a part of the 58th founding anniversary of the school), less than three months before PBB Gen 11 premiered (July 20, 2024), and that Kanata Tapia entered the house.
At the time it happened, Kanata, then 16 years old, was a Grade 10 student. More than a year and a half later (as of February 2026), she is still studying at that school, even though she exited from the PBB House, or even though she was invited to some of the ABS-CBN-related events. However, citing that she was a Grade 12 student, this year would be her graduating year, as she would be completing Senior High School.
In terms of PBB Gen 11, Kanata was a housemate for about 21 days, when she was evicted on the 2nd Eviction Night held last August 10, 2024, along with co-housemate and Star Hunt Trainee Marc Nanninga. Following her PBB days, in 2025, she appeared in two music videos, Ako Na Sana (Jeri Violago) and Mahiyain (Arkin Lagman), and a digital series on iWant titled Tropang G.O.A.T., where she, along with the PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0 Ultimate Eight housemates Joaquin Arce and Krystal Mejes, appeared in the series.
Apart from Tropang G.O.A.T., she, Kanata, played the role of a vlogger named Kanachi (trivia: that was her nickname during and after her PBB star) in an EDukSINE AHD Short Film Festival titled Ang Palabas na Ito ay Hindi Para Sa’yo (transl. This Film is Not For You), where it won a Best Poster award and earned nominations for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
The upcoming Mr. & Ms. Rizal NHS 2026 coronation night is scheduled to take place on February 27, 2026. The candidates for the female candidates, under Ms. Rizal NHS 2026, are Alerie Saulong, Kaith Arillo, Katelyn Ularte, Cyanne Dimalaluan, Jillianne Marlinez, and Jozen Castañeda.
RNHS also thanked PBB Gen 11 alums Binsoy Namoca and Brx Ruiz for their support of the 60th anniversary of its founding.
Dylan Yturralde joins StarPop, prepares to release music soon
Aside from Kanata Tapia, PBB Gen 11 ex-housemate and UE Red Warriors Volleyball Player from the 88th UAAP, Dylan Yturralde, greeted the Rizal NHS on a happy founding anniversary.
However, apart from the UE Red Warriors’ Men’s Volleyball team’s recent success in the 88th UAAP Men’s Volleyball tournament, Dylan, a member of that team, has announced that he has joined StarPop, an ABS-CBN Music-owned recording entity.
In the past months following the exit of PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates from the house, whether they were evicted or won as a Big Placer or a Big Winner, Jarren Garcia, JM Ibarra, and the Big 4 – Fyang Smith, Kai Montinola, Kolette Madelo, and Rain Celmar – made their mark in releasing their debut album and singles, through several album launches in SM North EDSA Skydome (except for Fyang’s album launch, which was held in the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City).
Dylan previously appeared in two ABS-CBN series, Sins of the Father and Love at First Spike, as well as the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival entry film from Regal Entertainment, Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins (2025 segment).
