More than three months after the final broadcast of Coco Martin-led FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which spanned three years and a month since it premiered on February 13, 2023, the Primetime King, together with Prime Actress Julia Montes, will mark their return to Philippine Primetime TV on June 22, 2026, through Coco Martin’s Sigabo.
Coco brings excitement to viewers once more, for the third time since FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in 2015, with his signature action-packed flair in his original concept for his new primetime offering.
FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, inspired by the original story of Regal Entertainment, is one of the country’s most-watched primetime shows during its run from 2023 to 2026, which aired on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5 (until January 1, 2026), and ALLTV2 (from January 2, 2026, until its finale on March 13, 2026). The series was also known for reaching 1 million in peak concurrent viewers on February 21, 2025.
Sigabo was originally scheduled for March 16, 2026, the supposed premiere date for this new series, following the airing of the finale episode of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. It was later postponed to a later date to allow more time for preparations, making it an exciting offering that delivers a new viewing experience, and to offer a relatable story full of an entertaining mix of action, romance, and comedy that will thrill viewers on weeknights, that the newest Kapamilya show has to offer.
Instead, it was replaced with the TV airing for Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino-topbilled The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan (originally seen on Prime Video), on the 20:00 timeslot, which later moved to 20:45 on April 6, 2026 (following the finale airings of Roja on March 13, 2026, and What Lies Beneath on April 1, 2026), and replace it with Blood vs. Duty on that date.
Speaking of Blood vs. Duty, and while we’re waiting for the much-awaited action-packed return of Coco Martin in Sigabo, the series continues to intensify as Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson move closer to unmasking the truth behind the illegal firearms operation within the system.
The premise of Blood vs. Duty’s intensified action is that during his trip to Isla Damai, Marcus (Richard) discovers a shocking alliance between corrupt authorities and criminal groups smuggling illegal firearms into the country. At the same time, Jalil (Gerald) disguised as a police major named Allan Espina, who dived deeper into the dark operations of the task force while rescuing his adoptive father, Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas), from captivity.
Driven by grief and vengeance, Lara (Bela Padilla) joins forces with Felix (Baron Geisler) in a desperate attempt to take back Datu Rahman and seek justice for the death of her parents.
As danger closes in from all sides, Marcus and Jalil find themselves on a collision course while trying to protect Datu Rahman. Their duty and conflicting beliefs will either continue to keep them apart, or they will discover they are chasing the controversial force seeking to destabilize the government.
Blood vs. Duty airs on weeknights at 20:00 on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and ALLTV2. The series is also available for advanced streaming via Netflix and iWant.

Upon its cinematic release on May 27, 2026, it achieved over PHP 12 million (USD 195,033.16) in box office earnings, surpassing Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales-led The Loved One, which earned over PHP 5 million on its first day.

Love is the center of everything. It should be, ‘di ba? But then, in the midst of love, in the midst of falling in love, it’s not always happy moments as well. So you go through all of that, ‘d ba? But we also go through that here in the story. – Donny Pangilinan
It’s up to you or what state you are in for you to relate to it, but I’m pretty sure that the people who watch it would relate to it, whether that’s finding love for yourself or finding your true love. It talks so much about love and how to love someone, but ultimately, how to love yourself. – Belle Mariano

Meanwhile, Kapamilya actress Mutya Orquia is set to appear in new episodes of the Knowledge Channel educational series, Estudyantipid, which aims to help Filipino students learn about saving, budgeting, and avoiding scams. The latest educational offering, designed for high school learners, is in partnership with the Knowledge Channel Foundation and the BPI Foundation, under the Financial Education Unboxed (FinEd Unboxed) initiative.

The newest Kapuso game show captures how much Filipinos love to talk, discuss, and share their two cents on just about anything, and can turn into thousands of Pesos.
It will feature 100 members of the studio audience, known as the People, who were asked about various issues. The mechanics are simple – once their answers are locked in, two pairs of celebrity contestants must guess their most popular opinions: “OK lang bang magsama kahit hindi kasal? Sino dapat ang nagbabayad sa first date?” (transl. Is cohabitation acceptable? Who pays for the first date?) After two rounds of guessing, the celebrity pair who best read the People’s pulse will win and take home the jackpot prize.
Meanwhile, viewers of the newest Kapuso game show offering may also participate and win fabulous prizes – just by watching The People Have Spoken on GMA and answering a question in the People Panalo Viewer Promo. They can also watch out for their favorite artists who might appear on the show as Celebripeeps – a role to keep their energy high and the dialogue flowing, stepping in with their own takes on the issues.
What makes the newest game show offering even more unique is how it puts the spotlight on the voices behind the answers – the People and Celebrity Players get to explain their opinions. Thus, real and engaging conversations are part of what the game show could offer.
Arnel Natividad directs this newest game show offering. It is a mix of a favorite game show and a talk show, sure to bring good vibes, excitement, and meaningful conversations.
The People Have Spoken airs via GMA, Kapuso Stream, and GMA Play starting on June 6, 2026, airing every Saturday at 18:15, after 24 Oras Weekend.
Something’s Unforgettabolabolabol for Gen 11 ex-housemates

Kanata Tapia stars in Love Is Never Gone and Mahiwaga MV, JMFyang’s upcoming microdrama, and Jarren’s new single
For the past few episodes in Love Is Never Gone, since Episode 3, from where Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alums JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith appeared respectively as Ronnie Manalang and Raya Verona, you might have seen another ex-housemate appear, but in a Kontrabida or antagonist role that made a fight not only for a parking space, but also when they were creating content against Raya on social media. And that is your Lola-Ving Apo, Kanata Tapia (known as Kanata in the opening credits), playing the role of Janice Mendoza, on Love Is Never Gone.
Now you’ve seen the sixth episode of the Prime Original series featuring Raya (Fyang) and Janice (Kanata) themselves last Friday (May 22, 2026), and while we’re waiting for Episodes 7 and 8 later at midnight (Philippine Standard Time), since it will release two new episodes every Friday exclusively on the streaming platform, let’s dive into the premise involving their fight between the two.
When Ronnie gave Raya a cup of water and asked for an order, she told him she had come to the coffee shop because someone on social media had been teasing her, saying that everyone was saying the Verona family is human traffickers. Ronnie viewed a social media video that somewhat said she brought her slaves to Venice, with the bio reading, “Yabang i-flaunt mga mamahaling bagay – galing pala sa ilegal!” Ronnie believed that the Verona family was not involved in the trafficking, but Raya answered that she felt bad about these issues.
When someone asked Raya to take a look at a video, Janice copied Raya’s live selling, and she said, “That (redacted)!” Raya came along while Janice and her friends were recording a video. When she confronted her, Janice told Raya to listen to her boyfriend (Ronnie), that the claims regarding human trafficking around the Verona family are true. She also said that all their luxury items came from smugglers (i.e., illegal, as Janice said). Ronnie later avoided Raya’s fight against Janice.
Ronnie also said that what Janice did was cyberlibel against cyberbullying, which possibly means that, because Janice is 18 years old, she may get a higher chance of jail time of six years, according to him. Raya confronted her again, until Ronnie stopped it and looked her in the eye. That was a high kilig factor for fans of JMFyang, right?
Now here’s our reaction to their scene involving Fyang and Kanata. I thought Kanata Tapia would be a “Gen Z Primera Kontrabida” like Gladys Reyes. But because the fight between Janice and Raya (Fyang) is not only in the digital space, but also in a pay parking space and outside the coffee shop. And not only that, every time their fight happened, Ronnie (JM) managed to end it, and wanted Janice suspended or expelled from Eastern Hope University, and put her in jail over these cybercriminal things she had done, whatever the incident may be.
So yes, Kanata Tapia, your new Gen Z Primera Kontrabida for playing as Janice Mendoza in Love Is Never Gone. The controversial but trending Rap Battle between Jasmine Dudley-Scales and Fyang Smith during their stay inside Bahay ni Kuya for Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 last September 21, 2024, has carried over, but with a twist: a fight between Janice Mendoza and Raya Verona for Love Is Never Gone.
And by the way, Kanata not only appeared in Love Is Never Gone but also played Chiyaki in a 2025 digital series on iWant titled Tropang G.O.A.T. She was a gamer from small beginnings, right?
While Kanata is your Kontra-Raya in Love Is Never Gone, on May 23, 2026, a day after the release of Episodes 5 and 6 on Prime Video, she appeared as your Mahiwaga in a music video for Mahiwaga, sung by Tarsier Records singer-songwriter Zion Aguirre.
The kilig factor with music video co-star Fred Moser, known as an ex-housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0, is so high that whenever you see him, you see her, or even both! And as of May 28, 2026, the music video, published on the official YouTube channel of the ABS-CBN Music-led record label, has achieved more than 24,000 views since its release last Saturday.
The alternative dream-pop track composed by himself and handled by Jhay Ehidio, released on May 22, 2026, dives into the irresistible feeling of being drawn to someone who feels almost magical—hard to explain, yet impossible to ignore.
His latest single is available for listening on all music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
Meanwhile, iWant also recently announced that another vertical drama offering will drop very soon, titled Will You Fake Marry Me, headlined by the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alums and Ghosting lead stars JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith. The first-ever lead romantic-comedy microdrama pairing between JM and Fyang will also star Karina Bautista, Miguel Vergara, Alyssa Muhlach, and Matet de Leon, and will be directed by Jojo Saguin.
Will You Fake Marry Me is the third iWant vertical drama to deliver that feature at least one Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemate, which includes Shadow CEO, headlined by Dylan Yturralde alongside Vivoree Esclito, and When Brothers Fall, headlined by Jasmine Dudley-Scales alongside Argel Saycon, both of which are also available for streaming not only on the iWant Quick Feels, but also on Beetzee Play.
Furthermore, StarPop singer-songwriter and PBB Gen 11 ex-housemate Jarren Garcia drops his new pop-R&B single, GOTCHU, which delivers feel-good vibes and reassures unwavering love, composed by Trisha Denise and produced by StarPop label head Roque Santos, on all streaming platforms, as of midnight on May 29, 2026. The single captures the quiet confidence of being someone’s constant, offering comfort, loyalty, and presence, no matter the circumstances.
Jarren, along with four of the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemates, including Dylan Yturralde, Jasmine Dudley-Scales, Binsoy Namoca, and Rain Celmar, also appeared in the said single’s music video, which was also released on the same day, at 18:00.
These PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates, including Niana Guerrero, Perlas, Devante, and Pauleen, are listed in the music video’s credits in the YouTube video description.
Check out Jarren’s new single, GOTCHU, available on all digital streaming platforms.
