ABS-CBN Music-Tarsier Records singer-songwriter Angela Ken takes audiences on a musical journey in her upcoming first solo concert, directed by John Prats, Panahon Na Natin, taking place at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City, Quezon City, on October 18, 2026.
She also said that aside from her signature sound, and with the release of her new single, Tayo Lang, on September 25, 2026, audiences can expect her to showcase a fresh and different side of her artistry in the concert. The concert will also be a different kind of intimate and personal, dedicated to her fans, fondly called Angels.
It’s a different kind of personal; it’s a different kind of intimate. I want them to feel na nagkakaabutan lang tayong lahat. Yung difference nito is yung lalim na gusto naming mensahe sa bawat set, sa bawat performance, sa bawat guest, she said.
Recently, the singer-songwriter dropped her new EP, Panahon, featuring tracks Kahapon, Panahon, and Simula Ngayon, alongside previously released singles Kulimlim, Pwede Bang Mamaya?, and Baka Bukas, all of which fans may look forward to her live performance of the EP, released under Tarsier Records. Kulimlim was also among the songs heard in the official playlist for the ABS-CBN Primetime drama headlined by Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid, Someone Someday.
Those six songs, it will show you the other side of your life. Like example, si Simula Ngayon, it talks about kung ano ka na ngayon, yung parang pinagtibay ka na ng panahon. Kahapon talks about the reality na minsan talaga wala kang magagawa pag gusto mo ang isang tao. Pwede Bang Mamaya? Talks about how we can prolong something with this person; with this person kasi sobrang saya. Baka Bukas is a song full of hope na lahat tayo meron at meron na baka bukas sa buhay, she further explained about her EP.
Ngayon ko pa lang siya ilalabas nang kumpleto. There are changes sa lyrics niya; there are tweaks. Pinagtibay rin siya ng panahon, she said about her upcoming single, Tayo Lang, originally wrote in 2018, which is scheduled to release on all music streaming platforms on September 25, 2026.
Meanwhile, one of the latest singles sung by the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, continues to gain global momentum as its catchy choreography catches the attention of artists, with international girl groups Itzy, StayC, Izna, 4Eve, No na, and Say Now making their own twist on the global dance trend.
The track has become a standout since their global stage appearances at Coachella, Summer Sonic, and their ongoing Signals World Tour, which took place earlier in the Philippines and the Americas, and in the Pacific (Australia and New Zealand), Singapore, and Taiwan from September to November.
During Itzy’s concert in Manila, girl group member Chaeryeong delighted fans by joining the global trend with her own take on the choreography, which quickly drew attention from BLOOMs celebrating the K-pop star for joining in. Their support was further followed by StayC’s Sieun, Izna’s Jeemin, 4Eve (Thailand), No Na (Indonesia), and Say Now (United Kingdom).
The girl group, together with 4Eve and Hana, will appear in the Asia Pop Girl Fest 2027, taking place in Chiba, Japan (January 22 and 23); Bangkok, Thailand (February 13); and Manila, Philippines (February 19, 2026). Their latest EP, Signals, currently has over 45 million online streams on Spotify, continuing their global reach outside the Philippines.
