Kapamilya stars Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto takes a step in a sweeping love story that unfolds over the years and through unexpected versions of themselves, solving the question of “what if love could find its way through time and between different versions who we are?”, in an upcoming Star Cinema film directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, Always Yours Never Mine.
The film, scheduled to release in Philippine cinemas by next Wednesday, September 30, 2026, explores the limits of love, time, and destiny as the lives of Apollo (Joshua) and Luna (Julia) will unfold their stories in the past three decades.
Vanessa Valdez, the screenplay writer of the film, shared on how the film will feature the characters of Apollo and Luna in different stages and generations of their lives that spanned for 30 years.
Ang magandang matatanong mo sa sarili mo kapag pinanood mo ang pelikulang ito: ‘Sa pagmamahal ko ba sa isang tao, napigilan ko siya na maging kung sino siya talaga dapat maging? I don’t think this is just a love story; it’s actually a life story. It’s about how we love our lives, the choices we make, and even the choices we don’t make, Vanessa shared during a media conference for the film.
Apart from Joshua and Julia, Always Yours Never Mine will also feature a star-studded set of artists, including Kapuso Prime Gem Bianca Umali, Chandra Romero, Jor Barcoma, Bob Jbeili, Karen Reyes, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, Ina Raymundo, Franco Laurel, Reign Parani, and Jan Silverio.
Aside from the Philippine cinematic release of the film, it will also be shown to other countries in the world, starting in the Arab World (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain), and Oceania (Australia and New Zealand) on October 22, 2026; followed by the Americas (United States, Canada, and Guam) on October 23, 2026; and several countries in Europe, including the United Kingdom and Austria on October 31, 2026; and Spain, France, and Italy on November 1, 2026.
As for the European screenings of the film, a meet-and-greet session with the lead stars of Always Yours Never Mine will take place at the Genesis Cinema, situated in London, United Kingdom, on the day of the UK release of the film, alongside with screenings at 10:00 and 13:00.
A similar session will also take place on the day of the Spain release, at the Palacio de la Prensa Cinema, situated in Madrid, Spain, with screenings at 13:00 and 18:00.
